યહોવા કહે છે કે, “હું તેઓનો સંપૂર્ણ નાશ કરીશ; વળી દ્રાક્ષાવેલા પર કઇં દ્રાક્ષો થશે નહિ, ને અંજીરીને અંજીર લાગશે નહિ, ને પાંદડા ચીમળાશે; મેં તેઓને જે કઇં આપ્યું છે તે તેઓની પાસેથી જતું રહેશે.” આ યહોવાના વચન છે.

I will utterly consume them, says Yahweh: there shall be no grapes on the vine, nor figs on the fig tree, and the leaf shall fade; and the things that I have given them shall pass away from them.
