સૈન્યોનો દેવ યહોવાએ પોતાના નામના સમ ખાઇને પ્રતિજ્ઞા કરી છે કે, “હું તીડોના ટોળાંની જેમ ગણ્યા ગણાય નહિ તેટલા માણસોને તારી સામે લાવીશ અને તેઓ તારો પરાજય કરી વિજયનાદ કરશે.”
