યાકૂબના પરિવારની આ કથા છે.યૂસફ 17 વર્ષનો યુવાન હતો. તેનું કામ ઘેટાંબકરાંને ચરાવવાનું અને તેમની દેખભાળ રાખવાનું હતું. યૂસફ આ કામ પોતાના ભાઈઓ એટલે કે, બિલ્હાહ તથા ઝિલ્પાહના પુત્રોની સાથે કરતો હતો. (બિલ્હાહ અને ઝિલ્પાહ તેના પિતાની પત્નીઓ હતી.)
World English Bible
This is the history of the generations of Jacob. Joseph, being seventeen years old, was feeding the flock with his brothers. He was a boy with the sons of Bilhah and Zilpah, his father's wives. Joseph brought an evil report of them to their father.
