પછી યહોવાએ મને કહ્યું, “હે મનુષ્યના પુત્ર, તેં જોયું કે ઇસ્રાએલીઓના આગેવાનો અહીં અંઘારામાં પોતપોતાની મૂર્તિના ગોખલા આગળ શું કરે છે? એ લોકો એમ માને છે કે, ‘યહોવા અમને જોતા નથી, તે તો દેશને છોડીને ચાલ્યા ગયા છે.”‘

Then said he to me, Son of man, have you seen what the elders of the house of Israel do in the dark, every man in his chambers of imagery? for they say, Yahweh doesn't see us; Yahweh has forsaken the land.
