પણ મેં કહ્યું, “હે યહોવા મારા માલિક, મેં મારી જાતને કદી અભડાવી નથી. મેં બાળપણથી આજ સુધી કદી કુદરતી રીતે મૃત્યુ પામેલું કે કોઇ જંગલી પશુએ મારી નાંખેલું પ્રાણી ખાધું નથી, મેં કદી નિયમશાસ્ત્ર દ્વારા નિષિદ્ધ ખોરાક મોંમા મૂક્યો નથી.
World English Bible
Then said I, Ah Lord Yahweh! behold, my soul has not been polluted; for from my youth up even until now have I not eaten of that which dies of itself, or is torn of animals; neither came there abominable flesh into my mouth.
