પરંતુ મૂસાએ કહ્યું, “એ પ્રમાંણે કરવું એ યોગ્ય નથી, કારણ કે અમે અમાંરા દેવ યહોવાને પશુઓને યજ્ઞમાં અર્પીએ તેને મિસરના લોકો અપવિત્ર ગણે છે. એથી મિસરના લોકો જેને પવિત્ર ગણે છે તે પશુઓની આહુતિ આપીએ તો તેઓ અમને પથ્થરો માંરીને માંરી નહિ નાંખે?
World English Bible
Moses said, "It isn't appropriate to do so; for we shall sacrifice the abomination of the Egyptians to Yahweh our God. Behold, shall we sacrifice the abomination of the Egyptians before their eyes, and won't they stone us?
