જે ખોજાઓ રાજાની સન્મુખ તે વખતે હાજર હતા તેઓમાંના એક, જેનું નામ હાબોર્નાહ હતું તેણે કહ્યું કે, મોર્દૃખાય, જેણે કાવત્રાની માહિતી આપીને રાજાની મદદ કરી હતી, તેને લટકાવવા માટે હામાને પોતાના ઘરની પાસે પંચોતેર ફુટનો ફાંસીનો માંચડો કરાવ્યો છે.રાજાએ કહ્યું, “હામાનને તેના પર ફાંસી આપો.”

Then said Harbonah, one of the chamberlains who were before the king, Behold also, the gallows fifty cubits high, which Haman has made for Mordecai, who spoke good for the king, stands in the house of Haman. The king said, Hang him thereon.
