તે આહાબના કુટુંબને પગલે ચાલ્યો અને આહાબના કુટુંબની જેમ તેણે યહોવાની નજરમાં ખોટું ગણાય એવું આચરણ કર્યું. કારણ, તે એ કુટુંબ સાથે લગ્ન સંબંધથી જોડાયેલો હતો.
