યહોવાએ જાહેર કર્યુ કે, “હું યહૂદીઓને પણ ઇસ્રાએલીઓની જેમ મારા સાન્નિધ્યથી દૂર હડસેલી મુકીશ. મેં પસંદ કરેલા આ નગર યરૂશાલેમને તેમજ યહોવાના જે મંદિરને વિષે મેં એમ કહ્યું હતું કે, “ત્યાં મારું નામ કાયમ રહેશે.” તેને પણ હું દૂર કરીશ.”

Yahweh said, I will remove Judah also out of my sight, as I have removed Israel, and I will cast off this city which I have chosen, even Jerusalem, and the house of which I said, My name shall be there.
