ત્યારબાદ રાજાએ પોતાની સાથે યહોવાના મંદિરમાં આવવા માટે સંદેશવાહકો મોકલીને યરૂશાલેમના તથા યહૂદાના વડીલો તથા આગેવાનોને બોલાવ્યા.
