હિઝિક્યા રાજાએ તેઓની પાસેથી સંદેશો સાંભળ્યો ત્યારે તરત જ તેણે પોતાનાં વસ્ત્રો ફાડયાં. ત્યાર પછી તેણે શણનાં વસ્ત્રો પહેર્યાં પછી તે યહોવાના મંદિરમાં પ્રાર્થના કરવા ગયો.
