બઆલના તમામ પ્રબોધકો અને યાજકોને બોલાવો. તેઓની સાથે તેઓના બધા જ અનુયાયીઓને પણ હાજર રાખો. એક પણ વ્યકિત બાકી રહેવો જોઈએ નહિ. કારણ કે આપણે, બઆલના ભકતોએ ભેગા થઈને તેની પૂજા માટે મોટી ઉજવણી કરવાની છે. બઆલના માણસોમાંનો જે કોઈ અહીં નહિ આવે તેને મારી નાખવામાં આવશે.”પણ બઆલના ભકતોને મારી નાખવા માટેનું યેહૂનું આ ષડયંત્ર હતું.
World English Bible
Now therefore call to me all the prophets of Baal, all his worshippers, and all his priests; let none be wanting: for I have a great sacrifice to do to Baal; whoever shall be wanting, he shall not live. But Jehu did it in subtlety, to the intent that he might destroy the worshippers of Baal.
