મને ખબર છે કે તમે મદદરૂપ થવા ઈચ્છો છો. મેં આ વિષે મકદોનિયામાં લોકો સાથે ઘણી બડાઈ મારી છે. મેં તેમને કહ્યું હતું કે તમે અખાયાના લોકો ગયા વર્ષથી અનુદાન કરવા તૈયાર છો. અને તમારી આપવાની અભિલાષાએ અહીંના મોટા ભાગના લોકોને પણ આપવા માટે પ્રેરણાં આપી છે.

for I know your readiness, of which I boast on your behalf to them of Macedonia, that Achaia has been prepared for a year past. Your zeal has stirred up very many of them.
