ત્યારબાદ બિન્યામીનના કુળસમૂહને પસંદ કરવામાં આવ્યું અને કુટુંબવાર આગળ આવ્યા; ત્યારે માંટીના કુટુંબને પસંદ કરવાનાં આવ્યું અને છેવટે કીશના પુત્ર શાઉલને પસંદ કરવામાં આવ્યો.તેમણે તેની શોધ કરી પણ તે મળ્યો નહિ.

He brought the tribe of Benjamin near by their families; and the family of the Matrites was taken; and Saul the son of Kish was taken: but when they sought him, he could not be found.
