1সদাপ্রভুর স্তব করা; হে পরাৎপর, তোমার নামের উদ্দেশে সঙ্গীত করা উত্তম;
1A Psalm. A song for the Sabbath day. It is a good thing to give thanks to Yahweh, To sing praises to your name, Most High;
2প্রাতঃকালে তোমার দয়া, ও প্রতিরাত্রে তোমার বিশ্বস্ততা প্রচার করা উত্তম,
2To proclaim your loving kindness in the morning, And your faithfulness every night,
3দশতন্ত্রী ও নেবলযন্ত্র সহকারে, গম্ভীর বীণা-ধ্বনি সহকারে।
3With the ten-stringed lute, with the harp, And with the melody of the lyre.
4কেননা, হে সদাপ্রভু, তুমি আপন কার্য্য দ্বারা আমাকে আহ্লাদিত করিয়াছ; আমি তোমার হস্তকৃত কার্য্য সকলে জয়ধ্বনি করিব।
4For you, Yahweh, have made me glad through your work. I will triumph in the works of your hands.
5সদাপ্রভু, তোমার কার্য্য সকল কেমন মহৎ। তোমার সঙ্কল্প সকল অতি গভীর।
5How great are your works, Yahweh! Your thoughts are very deep.
6নরপশু জানে না, নির্ব্বোধ ইহা বুঝে না।
6A senseless man doesn't know, Neither does a fool understand this:
7দুষ্টগণ যখন তৃণের ন্যায় অঙ্কুরিত হয়, অধর্ম্মাচারী সকলে যখন প্রফুল্ল হয়, তখন তাহাদের চির-বিনাশের জন্য সেইরূপ হয়।
7Though the wicked spring up as the grass, And all the evil-doers flourish, They will be destroyed forever.
8কিন্তু, সদাপ্রভু, তুমি অনন্তকাল ঊর্দ্ধবাসী।
8But you, Yahweh, are on high forevermore.
9কেননা, দেখ, তোমার শত্রুগণ, হে সদাপ্রভু, দেখ, তোমার শত্রুগণ বিনষ্ট হইবে; অধর্ম্মাচারীরা সকলে ছিন্নভিন্ন হইবে।
9For, behold, your enemies, Yahweh, For, behold, your enemies shall perish. All the evil-doers will be scattered.
10কিন্তু তুমি আমার শৃঙ্গ গবয়ের শৃঙ্গবৎ উন্নত করিয়াছ; আমি নব তৈলে অভিষিক্ত হইয়াছি।
10But you have exalted my horn like that of the wild ox. I am anointed with fresh oil.
11আর আমার চক্ষু আমার শত্রুদের দশা নিরীক্ষণ করিয়াছে; আমার কর্ণ আমার বিরোধী দুরাচারগণের দশা শুনিতে পাইয়াছে।
11My eye has also seen my enemies. My ears have heard of the wicked enemies who rise up against me.
12ধার্ম্মিক লোক তালতরুর ন্যায় উৎফুল্ল হইবে, সে লিবানোনের এরস বৃক্ষের ন্যায় বাড়িবে।
12The righteous shall flourish like the palm tree. He will grow like a cedar in Lebanon.
13যাহারা সদাপ্রভুর বাটীতে রোপিত, তাহারা আমাদের ঈশ্বরের প্রাঙ্গণে উৎফুল্ল হইবে।
13They are planted in Yahweh's house. They will flourish in our God's courts.
14তাহারা বৃদ্ধ বয়সেও ফল উৎপন্ন করিবে, তাহারা সরস ও তেজস্বী হইবে;
14They will still bring forth fruit in old age. They will be full of sap and green,
15তদ্দ্বারা প্রচারিত হইবে যে, সদাপ্রভু সরল; তিনি আমার শৈল, এবং তাঁহাতে অন্যায় নাই।
15To show that Yahweh is upright. He is my rock, And there is no unrighteousness in him.
