1হে ইস্রায়েলের পালক, কর্ণপাত কর, যোষেফকে মেষপালবৎ চালাও যে তুমি, করূবদ্বয়ে আসীন যে তুমি, তুমি দেদীপ্যমান হও।
1For the Chief Musician. To the tune of "The Lilies of the Covenant." A Psalm by Asaph. Hear us, Shepherd of Israel, You who lead Joseph like a flock, You who sit above the cherubim, shine forth.
2ইফ্রয়িম, বিন্যামীন ও মনঃশির সম্মুখে আপন পরাক্রম সতেজ কর, আমাদের পরিত্রাণার্থে আগমন কর।
2Before Ephraim and Benjamin and Manasseh, stir up your might! Come to save us!
3হে ঈশ্বর, আমাদিগকে ফিরাও, তোমার মুখ উজ্জ্বল কর, তাহাতে আমরা পরিত্রাণ পাইব।
3Turn us again, God. Cause your face to shine, And we will be saved.
4হে সদাপ্রভু, বাহিনীগণের ঈশ্বর, তুমি নিজ প্রজাগণের প্রার্থনার বিরুদ্ধে কতকাল কোপে জ্বলিবে?
4Yahweh God of hosts, How long will you be angry against the prayer of your people?
5তুমি আহারার্থে তাহাদিগকে অশ্রুভক্ষ্য দিয়াছ, বহুলপরিমাণে নেত্রজল পান করাইয়াছ।
5You have fed them with the bread of tears, And given them tears to drink in large measure.
6তুমি প্রতিবাসীদের মধ্যে আমাদিগকে বিবাদের পাত্র করিতেছ, আমাদের শত্রুগণ একযোগে পরিহাস করে।
6You make us a source of contention to our neighbors. Our enemies laugh among themselves.
7হে বাহিনীগণের ঈশ্বর, আমাদিগকে ফিরাও, তোমার মুখ উজ্জ্বল কর, তাহাতে আমরা পরিত্রাণ পাইব।
7Turn us again, God of hosts. Cause your face to shine, And we will be saved.
8তুমি মিসর হইতে একটী দ্রাক্ষালতা আনিয়াছিলে, জাতিদিগকে দূর করিয়া তাহা রোপন করিয়াছিলে।
8You brought a vine out of Egypt. You drove out the nations, and planted it.
9তুমি তাহার জন্য ভূমি পরিষ্কার করিয়াছিলে, তাহা বদ্ধমূল হইয়া দেশময় ব্যাপ্ত হইল।
9You cleared the ground for it. It took deep root, and filled the land.
10তাহার ছায়ার পর্ব্বতগণ ঢাকা পড়িয়া গেল, তাহার শাখা সকল ঈশ্বরের এরস বৃক্ষ চয়ের তুল্য হইল।
10The mountains were covered with its shadow. Its boughs were like God's cedars.
11তাহা সমুদ্র পর্য্যন্ত আপন শাখা, নদী পর্য্যন্ত আপন পল্লব বিস্তার করিল।
11It sent out its branches to the sea, Its shoots to the River.
12তুমি কেন তাহার বেড়া ভাঙ্গিয়া ফেলিলে? পথিক সকল যে তাহার পত্র ছিঁড়ে।
12Why have you broken down its walls, So that all those who pass by the way pluck it?
13বন হইতে শূকর আসিয়া তাহা কুচায়, মাঠের পশু তাহা মুড়াইয়া খাইয়া ফেলে।
13The boar out of the wood ravages it. The wild animals of the field feed on it.
14বিনয় করি, ফির, হে বাহিনীগণের ঈশ্বর, স্বর্গ হইতে চাহিয়া দেখ, এই দ্রাক্ষালতার তত্ত্ব কর;
14Turn again, we beg you, God of hosts. Look down from heaven, and see, and visit this vine,
15রক্ষা কর তাহা, যাহা তোমার দক্ষিণ হস্ত রোপন করিয়াছে, আর সেই পুত্রকে, যাহাকে তুমি আপনার জন্য সবল করিয়াছ।
15The stock which your right hand planted, The branch that you made strong for yourself.
16ইহা অগ্নিতে দগ্ধ হইয়াছে, ইহা ছেদিত হইয়াছে; তোমার মুখের তর্জ্জনে লোক বিনষ্ট হইতেছে।
16It's burned with fire. It's cut down. They perish at your rebuke.
17তোমার হস্ত তোমার দক্ষিণ হস্তের মনুষ্যের উপরে, তোমার নিমিত্ত সবলীকৃত মনুষ্যপুত্রের উপরে থাকুক।
17Let your hand be on the man of your right hand, On the son of man whom you made strong for yourself.
18তাহাতে আমরা তোমা হইতে ফিরিয়া যাইব না; তুমি আমাদিগকে সঞ্জীবিত কর, আমরা তোমার নামে ডাকিব।
18So we will not turn away from you. Revive us, and we will call on your name.
19হে সদাপ্রভু, বাহিনীগণের ঈশ্বর, আমাদিগকে ফিরাও; তোমার মুখ উজ্জ্বল কর, তাহাতে আমরা পরিত্রাণ পাইব।
19Turn us again, Yahweh God of hosts. Cause your face to shine, and we will be saved.
