1হে আমার ধার্ম্মিকতার ঈশ্বর, আমি ডাকিলে আমাকে উত্তর দেও। সঙ্কটে তুমি আমাকে মনের প্রশস্ততা দিয়াছ; আমাকে দয়া কর, আমার প্রার্থনা শুন।
1For the Chief Musician; on stringed instruments. A Psalm by David. Answer me when I call, God of my righteousness. Give me relief from my distress. Have mercy on me, and hear my prayer.
2হে মানব-সন্তানগণ, কত কাল আমার সম্মান অপমানে পরিণত করিবে, অলীকতা ভালবাসিবে, ও মিথ্যাকথার অন্বেষণ করিবে? সেলা।
2You sons of men, how long shall my glory be turned into dishonor? Will you love vanity, and seek after falsehood? Selah.
3তোমরা জানিও, সদাপ্রভু সাধুকে আপনার নিমিত্ত পৃথক করিয়া রাখিয়াছেন; আমি সদাপ্রভুকে ডাকিলে তিনি শুনিবেন।
3But know that Yahweh has set apart for himself him who is godly: Yahweh will hear when I call to him.
4তোমরা ভয় কর, পাপ করিও না, তোমাদের শয্যার উপরে মনে মনে কথা কহ, ও নীরব হও। সেলা।
4Stand in awe, and don't sin. Search your own heart on your bed, and be still. Selah.
5তোমরা ধার্ম্মিকতার বলি উৎসর্গ কর, আর সদাপ্রভুতে বিশ্বাস রাখ।
5Offer the sacrifices of righteousness. Put your trust in Yahweh.
6অনেকে বলে, কে আমাদিগকে মঙ্গল দেখাইবে? হে সদাপ্রভু, আমাদের প্রতি নিজ মুখের দীপ্তি উদিত কর।
6Many say, "Who will show us any good?" Yahweh, let the light of your face shine on us.
7তুমি আমার অন্তঃকরণে এমন আহ্লাদ দিয়াছ, যাহা উহাদের গোধূম ও দ্রাক্ষারসের বাহুল্যকালেও হয় না।
7You have put gladness in my heart, More than when their grain and their new wine are increased.
8আমি শান্তিতে শয়ন করিব, নিদ্রাও যাইব; কেননা, হে সদাপ্রভু, তুমিই একাকী আমাকে নির্ভয়ে বাস করিতে দিতেছ।
8In peace I will both lay myself down and sleep, For you, Yahweh alone, make me live in safety.
