তুমি দুরাচারদের বিষয়ে রুষ্ট হইও না; অধর্ম্মাচারীদের প্রতি ঈর্ষা করিও না।

By David. Don't fret because of evil-doers, Neither be envious against those who work unrighteousness.
2
কেননা তাহারা ঘাসের ন্যায় শীঘ্র ছিন্ন হইবে, হরিৎ তৃণের ন্যায় ম্লান হইবে।
2
For they shall soon be cut down like the grass, And wither like the green herb.
3
সদাপ্রভুতে নির্ভর রাখ, সদাচরণ কর, দেশে বাস কর, বিশ্বস্ততাক্ষেত্রে চর।

Trust in Yahweh, and do good. Dwell in the land, and enjoy safe pasture.
4
আর সদাপ্রভুতে আমোদ কর, তিনি তোমার মনোবাঞ্ছা সকল পূর্ণ করিবেন।

Also delight yourself in Yahweh, And he will give you the desires of your heart.
5
তোমার গতি সদাপ্রভুতে অর্পণ কর, তাঁহাতে নির্ভর কর, তিনিই কার্য্য সাধন করিবেন।

Commit your way to Yahweh. Trust also in him, and he will do this:

তিনি দীপ্তির ন্যায় তোমার ধর্ম্ম, মধ্যাহ্নের ন্যায় তোমার বিচার প্রকাশ করিবেন।

He will make your righteousness go forth as the light, And your justice as the noon day sun.
7
সদাপ্রভুর নিকটে নীরব হও, তাঁহার অপেক্ষায় থাক; যে আপন পথে কৃতকার্য্য হয়, তাহার বিষয়ে, যে ব্যক্তি কুসঙ্কল্প করে, তাহার বিষয়ে রুষ্ট হইও না।

Rest in Yahweh, and wait patiently for him. Don't fret because of him who prospers in his way, Because of the man who makes wicked plots happen.
8
ক্রোধ হইতে নিবৃত্ত হও, কোপ ত্যাগ কর, রুষ্ট হইও না, হইলে কেবল দুষ্কার্য্য করিবে।

Cease from anger, and forsake wrath. Don't fret, it leads only to evildoing.
9
কারণ দুরাচারগণ উচ্ছিন্ন হইবে, কিন্তু যাহারা সদাপ্রভুর অপেক্ষা করে, তাহারাই দেশের অধিকারী হইবে।

For evildoers shall be cut off, But those who wait for Yahweh shall inherit the land.
10
আর ক্ষণকাল, পরে দুষ্ট লোক আর নাই, তুমি তাহার স্থান তত্ত্ব করিবে, কিন্তু সে আর নাই।

For yet a little while, and the wicked will be no more. Yes, though you look for his place, he isn't there.
11
কিন্তু মৃদুশীলেরা দেশের অধিকারী হইবে, এবং শান্তির বাহুল্যে আমোদ করিবে।

But the humble shall inherit the land, And shall delight themselves in the abundance of peace.
12
দুষ্ট লোক ধার্ম্মিকের প্রতিকূলে কুসঙ্কল্প করে, তাহার বিরুদ্ধে দন্তঘর্ষণ করে।
12
The wicked plots against the just, And gnashes at him with his teeth.
13
প্রভু তাহাকে উপহাস করিবেন, কেননা তিনি দেখেন, তাহার দিন আসিতেছে। দুষ্টেরা খড়্গ নিষ্কোষ ও ধনুক আকর্ষণ করিয়াছে,

The Lord will laugh at him, For he sees that his day is coming.
14
যেন দুঃখী ও দরিদ্রকে নিপাত করিতে পারে, যেন সরলপথগামীদিগকে বধ করিতে পারে,
14
The wicked have drawn out the sword, and have bent their bow, To cast down the poor and needy, To kill those who are upright in the way.
15
তাহাদের খড়্গ তাহাদেরই হৃদয়ে প্রবেশ করিবে, তাহাদের ধনুক ভাঙ্গিয়া যাইবে।
15
Their sword shall enter into their own heart. Their bows shall be broken.
16
ধার্ম্মিকের অল্প সম্পত্তি ভাল, বহুদুষ্টের ধনরাশি অপেক্ষা ভাল।

Better is a little that the righteous has, Than the abundance of many wicked.
17
কারণ দুষ্টদের বাহু ভগ্ন হইবে; কিন্তু সদাপ্রভু ধার্ম্মিকদিগকে ধরিয়া রাখেন।

For the arms of the wicked shall be broken, But Yahweh upholds the righteous.
18
সদাপ্রভু সিদ্ধদের দিন সকল জানেন; তাহাদের অধিকার চিরকাল থাকিবে।
18
Yahweh knows the days of the perfect. Their inheritance shall be forever.
19
তাহারা বিপৎকালে লজ্জিত হইবে না, দুর্ভিক্ষের সময়ে তৃপ্ত হইবে।
19
They shall not be disappointed in the time of evil. In the days of famine they shall be satisfied.
20
কিন্তু দুষ্টগণ বিনষ্ট হইবে, সদাপ্রভুর শত্রুগণ মাঠের তৃণশোভার সমান হইবে; তাহারা অন্তর্হিত, ধূমের ন্যায় অন্তর্হিত হইবে।

But the wicked shall perish. The enemies of Yahweh shall be like the beauty of the fields. They will vanish� Vanish like smoke.
21
দুষ্ট ঋণ করিয়া পরিশোধ করে না, কিন্তু ধার্ম্মিক দয়াবান ও দানশীল।
21
The wicked borrow, and don't pay back, But the righteous give generously.
22
কেননা তাঁহার আশীর্ব্বাদের পাত্রেরা দেশের অধিকারী হইবে, কিন্তু তাঁহার শাপের পাত্রেরা উচ্ছিন্ন হইবে।
22
For such as are blessed by him shall inherit the land. Those who are cursed by him shall be cut off.
23
সদাপ্রভু কর্ত্তৃক মনুষ্যের পাদক্ষেপ সকল স্থিরীকৃত হয়, তাহার পথে তিনি প্রীত।

A man's goings are established by Yahweh. He delights in his way.
24
পতিত হইলেও সে ভূতলশায়ী হইবে না; কেননা সদাপ্রভু তাহার হস্ত ধরিয়া রাখেন।
24
Though he stumble, he shall not fall, For Yahweh holds him up with his hand.
25
আমি যুবক ছিলাম, এখন বৃদ্ধ হইয়াছি, কিন্তু ধার্ম্মিককে পরিত্যক্ত দেখি নাই, তাহার বংশকে খাদ্য ভিক্ষা করিতে দেখি নাই।

I have been young, and now am old, Yet I have not seen the righteous forsaken, Nor his children begging for bread.
26
সে সমস্ত দিন দয়া করে, ও ধার দেয়, তাহার বংশ আশীর্ব্বাদ পায়।
26
All day long he deals graciously, and lends. His seed is blessed.
27
তুমি মন্দ হইতে দূরে যাও, সদাচরণ কর, চিরকাল বাস করিবে।
27
Depart from evil, and do good; Live securely forever.
28
কেননা সদাপ্রভু ন্যায়বিচার ভালবাসেন; তিনি আপন সাধুগণকে পরিত্যাগ করেন না; তাহারা চিরকাল রক্ষিত হয়; কিন্তু দুষ্টদের বংশ উচ্ছিন্ন হইবে।

For Yahweh loves justice, And doesn't forsake his saints. They are preserved forever, But the children of the wicked shall be cut off.
29
ধার্ম্মিকেরা দেশের অধিকারী হইবে, তাহারা নিয়ত তথায় বাস করিবে।
29
The righteous shall inherit the land, And live in it forever.
30
ধার্ম্মিকের মুখ জ্ঞানের কথা বলে, তাহার জিহ্বা ন্যায়বিচারের কথা কহে।
30
The mouth of the righteous talks of wisdom. His tongue speaks justice.
31
তাহার ঈশ্বরের ব্যবস্থা তাহার অন্তরে আছে; তাহার পাদবিক্ষেপ টলিবে না।
31
The law of his God is in his heart. None of his steps shall slide.
32
দুষ্ট লোক ধার্ম্মিকের প্রতি লক্ষ্য রাখে, তাহাকে বধ করিতে চেষ্টা করে।
32
The wicked watches the righteous, And seeks to kill him.
33
সদাপ্রভু তাহাকে উহার হস্তে ছাড়িয়া দিবেন না, তাহার বিচারকালে তাহাকে দোষী করিবেন না।
33
Yahweh will not leave him in his hand, Nor condemn him when he is judged.
34
সদাপ্রভুর অপেক্ষায় থাক, তাঁহার পথে চল; তাহাতে তিনি তোমাকে দেশের অধিকার ভোগের জন্য উন্নত করিবেন; দুষ্টগণের উচ্ছেদ হইলে তুমি তাহা দেখিতে পাইবে।

Wait for Yahweh, and keep his way, And he will exalt you to inherit the land. When the wicked are cut off, you shall see it.
35
আমি দুষ্টকে মহাক্ষমতাশালী দেখিয়াছি, উৎপত্তি স্থানের সতেজ বৃক্ষের ন্যায় প্রসারিত দেখিয়াছি।

I have seen the wicked in great power, Spreading himself like a green tree in its native soil.
36
কিন্তু আমি সেই পথে গেলাম, দেখ, সে নাই, আমি অন্বেষণ করিলাম, কিন্তু তাহাকে পাওয়া গেল না।

But he passed away, and, behold, he was not. Yes, I sought him, but he could not be found.
37
সিদ্ধকে অবধারণ কর, সরলকে নিরীক্ষণ কর; শান্তিপ্রিয় ব্যক্তির শেষ ফল আছে।
37
Mark the perfect man, and see the upright, For there is a future for the man of peace.
38
অধর্ম্মাচারিগণ সকলেই বিনষ্ট হইবে; দুষ্টদের শেষ ফল উচ্ছিন্ন হইবে।

As for transgressors, they shall be destroyed together. The future of the wicked shall be cut off.
39
কিন্তু ধার্ম্মিকদের পরিত্রাণ সদাপ্রভু হইতে, তিনি সঙ্কটকালে তাহাদের দৃঢ় দুর্গ।
39
But the salvation of the righteous is from Yahweh. He is their stronghold in the time of trouble.
40
সদাপ্রভু তাহাদের সাহায্য করেন, তাহাদিগকে রক্ষা করেন, তিনি দুষ্টদের হইতে তাহাদিগকে রক্ষা করেন ও তাহাদের পরিত্রাণ করেন, কারণ তাহারা তাঁহার শরণ লইয়াছে।

Yahweh helps them, and rescues them. He rescues them from the wicked, and saves them, Because they have taken refuge in him.
