1আমি সর্ব্বসময়ে সদাপ্রভুর ধন্যবাদ করিব; তাঁহার প্রশংসা নিরন্তর আমার মুখে থাকিবে।
1By David; when he pretended to be insane before Abimelech, who drove him away, and he departed. I will bless Yahweh at all times. His praise will always be in my mouth.
2আমার প্রাণ সদাপ্রভুরই শ্লাঘা করিবে; তাহা শুনিয়া নম্রগণ আনন্দিত হইবে।
2My soul shall boast in Yahweh. The humble shall hear of it, and be glad.
3আমার সহিত সদাপ্রভুর মহিমা কীর্ত্তন কর; আইস, আমরা একসঙ্গে তাঁহার নামের প্রতিষ্ঠা করি।
3Oh magnify Yahweh with me. Let us exalt his name together.
4আমি সদাপ্রভুর অন্বেষণ করিলাম, তিনি আমাকে উত্তর দিলেন, আমার সকল আশঙ্কা হইতে উদ্ধার করিলেন।
4I sought Yahweh, and he answered me, And delivered me from all my fears.
5উহারা তাঁহার প্রতি দৃষ্টিপাত করিয়া দীপ্যমান হইল; তাহাদের মুখ কখনও বিবর্ণ হইবে না।
5They looked to him, and were radiant. Their faces shall never be covered with shame.
6এই দুঃখী ডাকিল, সদাপ্রভু শ্রবণ করিলেন, ইহাকে সকল সঙ্কট হইতে নিস্তার করিলেন।
6This poor man cried, and Yahweh heard him, And saved him out of all his troubles.
7সদাপ্রভুর দূত, যাহারা তাঁহাকে ভয় করে, তাহাদের চারিদিকে শিবির স্থাপন করেন, আর তাহাদিগকে উদ্ধার করেন।
7The angel of Yahweh encamps round about those who fear him, And delivers them.
8আস্বাদন করিয়া দেখ, সদাপ্রভু মঙ্গলময়; ধন্য সেই ব্যক্তি, যে তাঁহার শরণাপন্ন।
8Oh taste and see that Yahweh is good. Blessed is the man who takes refuge in him.
9হে তাঁহার পবিত্রগণ, সদাপ্রভুকে ভয় কর, কেননা তাঁহার ভয়কারীদের অভাব হয় না।
9Oh fear Yahweh, you his saints, For there is no lack with those who fear him.
10যুবসিংহদের অনাটন ও ক্ষুধায় ক্লেশ হয়, কিন্তু যাহারা সদাপ্রভুর অন্বেষণ করে, তাহাদের কোন মঙ্গলের অভাব হয় না।
10The young lions do lack, and suffer hunger, But those who seek Yahweh shall not lack any good thing.
11আইস, বৎসগণ, আমার বাক্য শুন, আমি তোমাদিগকে সদাপ্রভুর ভয় শিক্ষা দিই।
11Come, you children, listen to me. I will teach you the fear of Yahweh.
12কোন্‌ ব্যক্তি জীবনে প্রীত হয়, মঙ্গল দেখিবার জন্য দীর্ঘায়ু ভালবাসে?
12Who is someone who desires life, And loves many days, that he may see good?
13তুমি হিংসা হইতে তোমার জিহ্বাকে, ছলনা-বাক্য হইতে তোমার ওষ্ঠকে সাবধানে রাখ।
13Keep your tongue from evil, And your lips from speaking lies.
14মন্দ হইতে দূরে যাও, যাহা ভাল তাহাই কর; শান্তির অন্বেষণ ও অনুধাবন কর।
14Depart from evil, and do good. Seek peace, and pursue it.
15ধার্ম্মিকগণের প্রতি সদাপ্রভুর দৃষ্টি আছে, তাহাদের আর্ত্তনাদের প্রতি তাঁহার কর্ণ আছে।
15Yahweh's eyes are toward the righteous. His ears listen to their cry.
16সদাপ্রভুর মুখ দুরাচারদের প্রতিকূল; তিনি ভূতল হইতে তাহাদের স্মরণ উচ্ছেদ করিবেন।
16Yahweh's face is against those who do evil, To cut off the memory of them from the earth.
17[ধার্ম্মিকেরা] ক্রন্দন করিল, সদাপ্রভু শুনিলেন, তাহাদের সকল সঙ্কট হইতে তাহাদিগকে উদ্ধার করিলেন।
17The righteous cry, and Yahweh hears, And delivers them out of all their troubles.
18সদাপ্রভু ভগ্নচিত্তদের নিকটবর্ত্তী, তিনি চূর্ণমনাদের পরিত্রাণ করেন।
18Yahweh is near to those who have a broken heart, And saves those who have a crushed spirit.
19ধার্ম্মিকের বিপদ অনেক, কিন্তু সেই সকল হইতে সদাপ্রভু তাহাকে উদ্ধার করেন।
19Many are the afflictions of the righteous, But Yahweh delivers him out of them all.
20তিনি তাহার অস্থি সকল রক্ষা করেন; তাহার মধ্যে একখানিও ভগ্ন হয় না।
20He protects all of his bones. Not one of them is broken.
21দুষ্টতা দুর্জ্জনকে সংহার করিবে, ধার্ম্মিকের বিদ্বেষিগণ দোষীকৃত হইবে।
21Evil shall kill the wicked. Those who hate the righteous shall be condemned.
22সদাপ্রভু আপন দাসদের প্রাণ মুক্ত করেন; তাঁহার শরণাগত কেহই দোষীকৃত হইবে না।
22Yahweh redeems the soul of his servants. None of those who take refuge in him shall be condemned. By David.
