1হে সদাপ্রভু, তোমার বলে রাজা আনন্দ করেন, তিনি তোমার পরিত্রাণে কতই উল্লাসিত হন।
1For the Chief Musician. A Psalm by David. The king rejoices in your strength, Yahweh! How greatly he rejoices in your salvation!
2তুমি তাঁহার মনোবাঞ্ছা পূর্ণ করিয়াছ, তাঁহার ওষ্ঠের প্রার্থনা অস্বীকার কর নাই। সেলা।
2You have given him his heart's desire, And have not withheld the request of his lips. Selah.
3কেননা তুমি মঙ্গলের বিবিধ বর সহ তাঁহার সম্মুখবর্ত্তী হইয়াছে, তুমি তাঁহার মস্তকে সুবর্ণমুকুট দিয়াছ।
3For you meet him with the blessings of goodness; You set a crown of fine gold on his head.
4তিনি তোমার কাছে জীবন প্রার্থনা করিয়াছিলেন, তুমি তাঁহাকে দিয়াছ, অনন্তকালস্থায়ী দীর্ঘ পরমায়ু দিয়াছ।
4He asked life of you, you gave it to him, Even length of days forever and ever.
5তোমার পরিত্রাণে তিনি মহাগৌরবান্বিত; তুমি তাঁহার উপরে প্রভা ও প্রতাপ রাখিয়াছ।
5His glory is great in your salvation. You lay honor and majesty on him.
6তুমি তাঁহাকে চিরস্থায়ী আশীর্ব্বাদযুক্ত করিয়াছ, তোমার শ্রীমুখে তাঁহাকে আনন্দে পুলকিত করিয়াছ।
6For you make him most blessed forever. You make him glad with joy in your presence.
7কারণ রাজা সদাপ্রভুতে নির্ভর করেন, পরাৎপরের দয়াতে তিনি বিচলিত হইবেন না।
7For the king trusts in Yahweh. Through the loving kindness of the Most High, he shall not be moved.
8তোমার হস্ত তোমার সমস্ত শত্রুকে ধরিবে; তোমার দক্ষিণ হস্ত তোমার বিদ্বেষিগণকে ধরিবে।
8Your hand will find out all of your enemies. Your right hand will find out those who hate you.
9তুমি আপন ক্রোধের সময় তাহাদিগকে প্রজ্বলিত তুন্দুরস্বরূপ করিবে; সদাপ্রভু কোপে তাহাদিগকে গ্রাস করিবেন, অগ্নি তাহাদিগকে ভক্ষণ করিবে।
9You will make them as a fiery furnace in the time of your anger. Yahweh will swallow them up in his wrath. The fire shall devour them.
10তুমি উচ্ছিন্ন করিবে পৃথিবী হইতে তাহাদের ফল, মনুষ্য-সন্তানদের মধ্য হইতে তাহাদের বংশ।
10You will destroy their descendants from the earth, Their posterity from among the children of men.
11কেননা তাহারা তোমার বিরুদ্ধে কুসঙ্কল্প করিল; তাহারা কুমন্ত্রণা করিল, তাহা সিদ্ধ করিতে পারে না।
11For they intended evil against you. They plotted evil against you which cannot succeed.
12কেননা তুমি তাহাদিগকে ফিরাইয়া দিবে, তুমি তাহাদের মুখ তোমার ধনুর্গুণের লক্ষ্য করিবে।
12For you will make them turn their back, When you aim drawn bows at their face.
13হে সদাপ্রভু, নিজ বলে উন্নত হও; আমরা তব পরাক্রম গাহিব ও প্রশংসা করিব।
13Be exalted, Yahweh, in your strength, So we will sing and praise your power.
