তোমরা সদাপ্রভুর প্রশংসা কর; হে আমার প্রাণ, সদাপ্রভুর প্রশংসা কর।

Praise Yah! Praise Yahweh, my soul.

আমি যাবজ্জীবন সদাপ্রভুর প্রশংসা করিব; আমি যত কাল বাঁচিয়া থাকি, আমার ঈশ্বরের প্রশংসা গান করিব।

While I live, I will praise Yahweh. I will sing praises to my God as long as I exist.
3
তোমরা নির্ভর করিও না রাজন্যগণে, বা মনুষ্য-সন্তানে, যাহার নিকটে ত্রাণ নাই।
3
Don't put your trust in princes, Each a son of man in whom there is no help.
4
তাহার শ্বাস নির্গত হয়, সে নিজ মৃত্তিকায় প্রতিগমন করে; সেই দিনেই তাহার সঙ্কল্প সকল নষ্ট হয়।

His spirit departs, and he returns to the earth. In that very day, his thoughts perish.

ধন্য সেই, যাহার সহায় যাকোবের ঈশ্বর, যাহার আশাভূমি সদাপ্রভু, তাহার ঈশ্বর।

Happy is he who has the God of Jacob for his help, Whose hope is in Yahweh, his God:

তিনি নির্ম্মাণ করিয়াছেন আকাশমণ্ডল ও পৃথিবী, সমুদ্র ও তাহার মধ্যে যাহা কিছু আছে; তিনি অনন্তকাল সত্য পালন করেন।

Who made heaven and earth, The sea, and all that is in them; Who keeps truth forever;

তিনি উপদ্রুতদের পক্ষে ন্যায়বিচার করেন, তিনি ক্ষুধিতদিগকে খাদ্য দান করেন; সদাপ্রভু বন্দিদিগকে মুক্ত করেন।

Who executes justice for the oppressed; Who gives food to the hungry. Yahweh frees the prisoners.

সদাপ্রভু অন্ধদের চক্ষু খুলিয়া দেন; সদাপ্রভু অবনতদিগকে উত্থাপন করেন; সদাপ্রভু ধার্ম্মিকদিগকে প্রেম করেন।

Yahweh opens the eyes of the blind. Yahweh raises up those who are bowed down. Yahweh loves the righteous.

সদাপ্রভু বিদেশীদের রক্ষাকারী; তিনি পিতৃহীন ও বিধবাকে সুস্থির রাখেন, কিন্তু দুষ্টগণের পথ বক্র করেন।

Yahweh preserves the foreigners. He upholds the fatherless and widow, But the way of the wicked he turns upside down.

সদাপ্রভু অনন্তকাল রাজত্ব করিবেন; তোমার ঈশ্বর, হে সিয়োন, পুরুষে পুরুষে করিবেন। তোমরা সদাপ্রভুর প্রশংসা কর।

Yahweh will reign forever; Your God, O Zion, to all generations. Praise Yah!
