কারণ তথায় আমাদের বন্দিকারীরা আমাদের কাছে গীত শুনিতে চাহিত, আমাদের উপদ্রবিগণ আনন্দের রব শুনিতে চাহিত, বলিত, ‘আমাদের কাছে সিয়োনের একটা গীত গাও।’
World English Bible
For there, those who led us captive asked us for songs. Those who tormented us demanded songs of joy: "Sing us one of the songs of Zion!"
