1ধন্য সেই জন, যে কেহ সদাপ্রভুকে ভয় করে, যে তাঁহার সকল পথে চলে।
1A Song of Ascents. Blessed is everyone who fears Yahweh, Who walks in his ways.
2বাস্তবিক তুমি স্বহস্তের শ্রম-ফল ভোগ করিবে, তুমি ধন্য হইবে, ও তোমার মঙ্গল হইবে।
2For you will eat the labor of your hands. You will be happy, and it will be well with you.
3তোমার গৃহের অন্তঃপুরে তোমার স্ত্রী ফলবতী দ্রাক্ষালতার ন্যায় হইবে, তোমার মেজের চারিদিকে তোমার সন্তানগণ জিত বৃক্ষের চারার ন্যায় হইবে।
3Your wife will be as a fruitful vine, In the innermost parts of your house; Your children like olive plants, Around your table.
4দেখ, যে ব্যক্তি সদাপ্রভুকে ভয় করে, সে এইরূপে আশীর্ব্বাদ প্রাপ্ত হয়।
4Behold, thus is the man blessed who fears Yahweh.
5সদাপ্রভু সিয়োন হইতে তোমাকে আশীর্ব্বাদ করুন, যেন তুমি যাবজ্জীবন যিরূশালেমের মঙ্গল দেখিতে পাও,
5May Yahweh bless you out of Zion, And may you see the good of Jerusalem all the days of your life.
6এবং তোমার সন্তানদের বংশ দেখিতে পাও। ইস্রায়েলের উপরে শান্তি বর্ত্তুক।
6Yes, may you see your children's children. Peace be upon Israel.
