ধন্য তাহারা, যাহারা আচরণে সিদ্ধ, যাহারা সদাপ্রভুর ব্যবস্থা-পথে চলে।

ALEPH Blessed are those whose ways are blameless, Who walk according to Yaweh's law.

ধন্য তাহারা, যাহারা তাঁহার সাক্ষ্যকলাপ পালন করে; যাহারা সর্ব্বান্তঃকরণে তাঁহার অন্বেষণ করে।

Blessed are those who keep his statutes, Who seek him with their whole heart.
3
আবার তাহারা অন্যায় করে না, তাহারা তাঁহার সকল পথে গমন করে।

Yes, they do nothing wrong. They walk in his ways.
4
তুমি আপন নিদেশমালা আদেশ করিয়াছ, যেন আমরা যত্নপূর্ব্বক তাহা পালন করি।

You have commanded your precepts, That we should fully obey them.

আহা! আমার পথ সকল সুস্থির হউক, যেন আমি তোমার বিধিকলাপ পালন করি।

Oh that my ways were steadfast To obey your statutes!

তখন আমি লজ্জিত হইব না, যখন তোমার আজ্ঞা সকলের প্রতি দৃষ্টি রাখি।

Then I wouldn't be disappointed, When I consider all of your commandments.

যখন তোমার ধর্ম্মময় শাসনকলাপ শিক্ষা করি, তখন আমি সরল চিত্তে তোমার স্তব করিব।

I will give thanks to you with uprightness of heart, When I learn your righteous judgments.
8
আমি তোমার বিধিকলাপ পালন করিব; আমাকে একেবারে পরিত্যাগ করিও না।

I will observe your statutes. Don't utterly forsake me.

যুবক কেমন করিয়া নিজ পথ বিশুদ্ধ করিবে? তোমার বাক্যানুসারে সাবধান হইয়াই করিবে।

BEIT How can a young man keep his way pure? By living according to your word.

আমি সর্ব্বান্তঃকরণে তোমার অন্বেষণ করিয়াছি, আমাকে তোমার আজ্ঞা-পথ ছাড়িয়া ঘুরিয়া বেড়াইতে দিও না।

With my whole heart, I have sought you. Don't let me wander from your commandments.

তোমার বচন আমি হৃদয়মধ্যে সঞ্চয় করিয়াছি, যেন তোমার বিরুদ্ধে পাপ না করি।

I have hidden your word in my heart, That I might not sin against you.

ধন্য তুমি, হে সদাপ্রভু, আমাকে তোমার বিধিকলাপ শিক্ষা দেও।

Blessed are you, Yahweh. Teach me your statutes.

আমি ওষ্ঠাধরে বর্ণনা করিয়াছি তোমার মুখের সমস্ত শাসন।

With my lips, I have declared all the ordinances of your mouth.
14
আমি তোমার সাক্ষ্য-পথে আমোদ করিয়াছি, যেমন ধনসমূহে লোকে আমোদ করে।

I have rejoiced in the way of your testimonies, As much as in all riches.
15
আমি তোমার নিদেশমালা ধ্যান করিব, তোমার সকল পথের প্রতি দৃষ্টি রাখিব।

I will meditate on your precepts, And consider your ways.
16
আমি তোমার বিধিকলাপে হর্ষিত হইব, তোমার বাক্য ভুলিয়া যাইব না।

I will delight myself in your statutes. I will not forget your word.
17
তোমার দাসের মঙ্গল কর, যেন আমি বাঁচি, তাহা হইলে আমি তোমার বাক্য পালন করিব।

GIMEL Do good to your servant. I will live and I will obey your word.
18
আমার নয়ন খুলিয়া দেও, যেন আমি দর্শন করি, তোমার ব্যবস্থায় আশ্চর্য্য আশ্চর্য্য বিষয় দেখি।

Open my eyes, That I may see wondrous things out of your law.

আমি পৃথিবীতে প্রবাসী, আমা হইতে তোমার আজ্ঞা সকল লুকাইও না।

I am a stranger on the earth. Don't hide your commandments from me.
20
আমার প্রাণ আকাঙ্ক্ষায় ক্ষুণ্ণ হয় তোমার শাসনকলাপের জন্য, সর্ব্ব সময়ে।
20
My soul is consumed with longing for your ordinances at all times.
21
তুমি সেই শাপগ্রস্ত অহঙ্কারীদিগকে ভর্ৎসনা করিয়াছ, যাহারা তোমার আজ্ঞা পথ ছাড়িয়া ঘুরিয়া বেড়ায়।

You have rebuked the proud who are cursed, Who wander from your commandments.

আমা হইতে দুর্নাম ও অপমান দূর কর, কেননা আমি তোমার সাক্ষ্যকলাপ পালন করিয়াছি।

Take reproach and contempt away from me, For I have kept your statutes.

জনাধ্যক্ষেরাও বসিয়া আমার বিপক্ষে কথা কহিয়াছেন; তোমার এই দাস তোমার বিধি ধ্যান করে।

Though princes sit and slander me, Your servant will meditate on your statutes.
24
তোমার সাক্ষ্যকলাপ আমার হর্ষজনক, সেগুলি আমার মন্ত্রণাদায়ক সুহৃৎ।

Indeed your statutes are my delight, And my counselors.
25
আমার প্রাণ ধূলিতে সংলগ্ন, তোমার বাক্যানুসারে আমাকে সঞ্জীবিত কর।

DALED My soul is laid low in the dust. Revive me according to your word!

আমি আপন পথসমূহের কথা বলিলাম, আর তুমি আমাকে উত্তর দিয়াছ, তোমার বিধিকলাপ আমাকে শিক্ষা দেও।

I declared my ways, and you answered me. Teach me your statutes.

তোমার নিদেশ-পথ আমাকে বুঝাইয়া দেও, আমি তোমার আশ্চর্য্য কর্ম্ম সকল ধ্যান করিব।

Let me understand the teaching of your precepts! Then I will meditate on your wondrous works.

আমার প্রাণ দুঃখে গলিয়া পড়িতেছে, তোমার বাক্যানুসারে আমাকে উঠাও।

My soul is weary with sorrow: Strengthen me according to your word.

আমা হইতে মিথ্যার পথ দূর কর, কৃপা করিয়া তোমার ব্যবস্থা আমাকে দেও।

Keep me from the way of deceit. Grant me your law graciously!

আমি বিশ্বস্ততার পথ মনোনীত করিয়াছি, আমি তোমার শাসনকলাপ সম্মুখে রাখিয়াছি।

I have chosen the way of truth. I have set my heart on your law.

আমি তোমার সাক্ষ্যসমূহে আসক্ত; সদাপ্রভু, আমাকে লজ্জিত করিও না।

I cling to your statutes, Yahweh. Don't let me be disappointed.

আমি তোমার আজ্ঞা-পথে দৌড়িব, কেননা তুমি আমার হৃদয় প্রশস্ত করিতেছ।

I run in the path of your commandments, For you have set my heart free.

সদাপ্রভু, তোমার বিধি-পথ আমাকে দেখাও, আর আমি শেষ পর্য্যন্ত তাহা পালন করিব।

HEY Teach me, Yahweh, the way of your statutes. I will keep them to the end.

আমাকে বিবেচনা দেও, আমি তোমার ব্যবস্থা মানিব, সর্ব্বান্তঃকরণে তাহা পালন করিব।

Give me understanding, and I will keep your law. Yes, I will obey it with my whole heart.

তোমার আজ্ঞা-পথে আমাকে গমন করাও, কারণ তাহাতেই আমার প্রীতি।

Direct me in the path of your commandments, For I delight in them.

তোমার সাক্ষ্যকলাপের প্রতি আমার হৃদয় ফিরাও, লোভের প্রতি ফিরাইও না।

Turn my heart toward your statutes, Not toward selfish gain.
37
অলীকতা দর্শন হইতে আমার চক্ষু ফিরাও, তোমার পথে আমাকে সঞ্জীবিত কর।

Turn my eyes away from looking at worthless things. Revive me in your ways.

তোমার দাসের পক্ষে সফল কর তোমার বচন, যাহা তোমার প্রতি ভয় সম্বন্ধীয়।

Fulfill your promise to your servant, That you may be feared.

দূর কর আমার দুর্নাম, যাহার বিষয় আমি ভয় করি, কেননা তোমার শাসনকলাপ উত্তম।

Take away my disgrace that I dread, For your ordinances are good.
40
দেখ, আমি তোমার নিদেশ সকলের আকাঙ্ক্ষা করিয়া আসিতেছি, তোমার ধর্ম্মশীলতায় আমাকে সঞ্জীবিত কর।

Behold, I long for your precepts! Revive me in your righteousness.
41
আমার প্রতি তোমার দয়া বর্ত্তুক, হে সদাপ্রভু, তোমার বচনানুসারে তোমার পরিত্রাণ বর্ত্তুক।

WAW Let your loving kindness also come to me, Yahweh, Your salvation, according to your word.
42
তবে আমি আমার দুর্নামকারীকে উত্তর দিতে পারিব, কেননা আমি তোমার বাক্যে নির্ভর করিতেছ।

So I will have an answer for him who reproaches me, For I trust in your word.
43
আর আমার মুখ হইতে সত্যের বাক্য নিঃশেষে হরণ করিও না, কেননা আমি তোমার শাসনকলাপের অপেক্ষা করিতেছি।

Don't snatch the word of truth out of my mouth, For I put my hope in your ordinances.

আমি সতত তোমার ব্যবস্থা পালন করিব, যুগে যুগে চিরকাল করিব।

So I will obey your law continually, Forever and ever.

আর আমি প্রশস্ত স্থানে গতায়াত করিব, কেননা আমি তোমার নিদেশ সকলের অন্বেষণ করিয়াছি।

I will walk in liberty, For I have sought your precepts.

আমি রাজগণের সাক্ষাতেও তোমার সাক্ষ্যকলাপের কথা বলিব, আর আমি লজ্জিত হইব না।

I will also speak of your statutes before kings, And will not be disappointed.
47
আমি তোমার আজ্ঞাসমূহে আমোদ করিব, সে সকল আমি ভালবাসি।

I will delight myself in your commandments, Because I love them.

আমি তোমার আজ্ঞা সকলের কাছে অঞ্জলি উঠাইব, সে সকল আমি ভালবাসি, আমি তোমার বিধিকলাপ ধ্যান করিব।

I reach out my hands for your commandments, which I love. I will meditate on your statutes.

তোমার দাসের পক্ষে সেই বাক্য স্মরণ কর, যদ্দ্বারা তুমি আমাকে প্রত্যাশাযুক্ত করিয়াছ।

ZAYIN Remember your word to your servant, Because you gave me hope.

দুঃখের সময়ে ইহাই আমার সান্ত্বনা, তোমার বচন আমাকে সঞ্জীবিত করিয়াছে।

This is my comfort in my affliction, For your word has revived me.

অহঙ্কারিগণ আমাকে অতিশয় বিদ্রূপ করিয়াছে, তোমার ব্যবস্থা হইতে আমি বিমুখ হই নাই।

The arrogant mock me excessively, But I don't swerve from your law.

সদাপ্রভু, আমি তোমার পূর্ব্বকালের শাসনকলাপ স্মরণ করিয়াছি, আর সান্ত্বনা পাইয়াছি।

I remember your ordinances of old, Yahweh, And have comforted myself.
53
দুষ্টদের বিষয়ে আমার ক্রোধ জ্বলিয়া উঠিল, কেননা তাহারা তোমার ব্যবস্থা ত্যাগ করে।

Indignation has taken hold on me, Because of the wicked who forsake your law.

তোমার বিধিকলাপ হইয়াছে আমার গীত আমার প্রবাস-গৃহে।

Your statutes have been my songs, In the house where I live.

সদাপ্রভু, আমি রাত্রিকালে তোমার নাম স্মরণ করিয়াছি, ও তোমার ব্যবস্থা পালন করিয়াছি।

I have remembered your name, Yahweh, in the night, And I obey your law.

আমি ইহাই পাইয়াছি, তোমার নির্দেশ সকল পালন করিয়াছি।

This is my way, That I keep your precepts.

সদাপ্রভু আমার অধিকার; আমি বলিয়াছি, আমি তোমার বাক্য সকল পালন করিব।

CHET Yahweh is my portion. I promised to obey your words.

আমি সর্ব্বান্তঃকরণে তোমার মুখের প্রসন্নতা চেষ্টা করিয়াছি; তোমার বচনানুসারে আমার প্রতি কৃপা কর।

I sought your favor with my whole heart. Be merciful to me according to your word.

আমি নিজ পথসমূহ বিবেচনা করিলাম, ও তোমার সাক্ষ্যকলাপের প্রতি আমার চরণ ফিরাইলাম।

I considered my ways, And turned my steps to your statutes.

আমি সত্বর হইলাম, বিলম্ব করিলাম না, তোমার আজ্ঞা সকল পালন করিবার জন্য।

I will hurry, and not delay, To obey your commandments.

দুষ্টগণের রজ্জু আমাকে জড়াইয়াছে, আমি তোমার ব্যবস্থা ভুলিয়া যাই নাই।

The ropes of the wicked bind me, But I won't forget your law.

আমি মধ্যরাত্রে তোমার স্তব করিতে উঠিব, তোমার ধর্ম্মময় শাসনমালার জন্য।

At midnight I will rise to give thanks to you, Because of your righteous ordinances.

আমি সেই সকলের সখা, যাহারা তোমাকে ভয় করে, এবং যাহারা তোমার নিদেশ সকল পালন করে।

I am a friend of all those who fear you, Of those who observe your precepts.

তোমার দয়াতে, হে সদাপ্রভু, পৃথিবী পরিপূর্ণ, আমাকে তোমার বিধিকলাপ শিক্ষা দেও।

The earth is full of your loving kindness, Yahweh. Teach me your statutes.

তুমি আপন দাসের প্রতি মঙ্গল ব্যবহার করিয়াছ, হে সদাপ্রভু, তোমার বাক্যানুসারে করিয়াছ।

TET Do good to your servant, According to your word, Yahweh.

উত্তম বিচার ও জ্ঞান আমাকে শিখাও, কেননা আমি তোমার আজ্ঞাসমূহে বিশ্বাস করিয়া আসিতেছি।

Teach me good judgment and knowledge, For I believe in your commandments.

দুঃখার্ত্ত হইবার পূর্ব্বে আমি ভ্রান্ত ছিলাম, কিন্তু এখন তোমার বচন পালন করিতেছি।

Before I was afflicted, I went astray; But now I observe your word.

তুমি মঙ্গলময় ও মঙ্গলকারী, তোমার বিধিকলাপ আমাকে শিক্ষা দেও।

You are good, and do good. Teach me your statutes.

অহঙ্কারিগণ আমার বিরুদ্ধে মিথ্যা কথা রচনা করিয়াছে, আমি সর্ব্বান্তঃকরণে তোমার নিদেশ সকল পালন করিব।

The proud have smeared a lie upon me. With my whole heart, I will keep your precepts.

উহাদের অন্তঃকরণ মেদের ন্যায় স্থূল; কিন্তু আমি তোমার ব্যবস্থায় আমোদ করি।

Their heart is as callous as the fat, But I delight in your law.

আমি যে দুঃখার্ত্ত হইয়াছি, এ আমার পক্ষে উত্তম, যেন আমি তোমার বিধি শিখিতে পাই।

It is good for me that I have been afflicted, That I may learn your statutes.

তোমার মুখের ব্যবস্থা আমার পক্ষে উত্তম, সহস্র সহস্র স্বর্ণ ও রৌপ্যমুদ্রা অপেক্ষা উত্তম।

The law of your mouth is better to me than thousands of pieces of gold and silver.

তোমার হস্ত আমার গঠন ও স্থিতি করিয়াছে; আমাকে বিবেচনা দেও, যেন তোমার আজ্ঞা সকল শিখিতে পারি।

YUD Your hands have made me and formed me. Give me understanding, that I may learn your commandments.

যাহারা তোমাকে ভয় করে, তাহারা আমাকে দেখিয়া আনন্দিত হইবে, কারণ আমি তোমার বাক্যে প্রত্যাশা করিয়াছি।

Those who fear you will see me and be glad, Because I have put my hope in your word.

হে সদাপ্রভু, আমি জানি, তোমার শাসনকলাপ ধর্ম্মময়, আর তুমি বিশ্বস্ততায় আমাকে দুঃখ দিয়াছ।

Yahweh, I know that your judgments are righteous, That in faithfulness you have afflicted me.

আহা! তোমার দয়া আমার সান্ত্বনাজনক হউক, তোমার দাসের প্রতি তোমার বচনানুসারে হউক।

Please let your loving kindness be for my comfort, According to your word to your servant.

আমার প্রতি তোমার করুণা বর্ত্তুক, যেন আমি বাঁচি; কেননা তোমার ব্যবস্থা আমার হর্ষজনক।

Let your tender mercies come to me, that I may live; For your law is my delight.

অহঙ্কারিগণ লজ্জিত হউক, কেননা তাহারা মিথ্যা বলিয়া আমার সর্ব্বনাশ করিয়াছে; কিন্তু আমি তোমার নিদেশমালা ধ্যান করিতেছি।

Let the proud be disappointed, for they have overthrown me wrongfully. I will meditate on your precepts.

যাহারা তোমাকে ভয় করে, তাহারা আমার প্রতি ফিরুক, আর তাহারা তোমার সাক্ষ্যকলাপ বুঝিবে।

Let those who fear you turn to me. They will know your statutes.

আমার চিত্ত তোমার বিধিতে সিদ্ধ হউক, যেন আমি লজ্জিত না হই।

Let my heart be blameless toward your decrees, That I may not be disappointed.

তোমার পরিত্রাণের প্রতীক্ষায় আমার প্রাণ ক্ষীণ হয়, আমি তোমার বাক্যের অপেক্ষা করি।

KAF My soul faints for your salvation. I hope in your word.

তোমার বচনের প্রতীক্ষায় আমার চক্ষু ক্ষীণ হয়, আমি বলি, তুমি কখন আমাকে সান্ত্বনা করিবে?

My eyes fail for your word. I say, "When will you comfort me?"

কারণ আমি ধূমস্থ কুপার সদৃশ হইয়াছি; তথাপি তোমার বিধি ভুলিয়া যাই নাই।

For I have become like a wineskin in the smoke. I don't forget your statutes.

তোমার দাসের দিন কত? কবে আমার তাড়নাকারিগণের বিচার করিবে?

How many are the days of your servant? When will you execute judgment on those who persecute me?

অহঙ্কারিগণ আমার নিমিত্ত গর্ত্ত খুঁড়িয়াছে, তাহারা তোমার ব্যবস্থানুগামী নয়।

The proud have dug pits for me, Contrary to your law.

তোমার সমস্ত আজ্ঞা বিশ্বসনীয়; লোকে মিথ্যা বলিয়া আমাকে তাড়না করে; আমার সাহায্য কর।

All of your commandments are faithful. They persecute me wrongfully. Help me!

উহারা পৃথিবীতে আমাকে প্রায় নিঃশেষ করিয়াছিল, কিন্তু আমি তোমার নিদেশমালা ত্যাগ করি নাই।

They had almost wiped me from the earth, But I didn't forsake your precepts.

তোমার দয়ানুসারে আমাকে সঞ্জীবিত কর, তাহাতে আমি তোমার মুখের সাক্ষ্য পালন করিব।

Preserve my life according to your loving kindness, So I will obey the statutes of your mouth.

অনন্তকালের নিমিত্ত, হে সদাপ্রভু, তোমার বাক্য স্বর্গে সংস্থাপিত।

LAMED Yahweh, your word is settled in heaven forever.

তোমার বিশ্বস্ততা পুরুষে পুরুষে স্থায়ী; তুমি পৃথিবীকে স্থাপন করিয়াছ, তাহা স্থির রহিয়াছে।

Your faithfulness is to all generations. You have established the earth, and it remains.

অদ্যাপি তোমার শাসনানুসারে সকলই স্থির রহিয়াছে, কেননা সমস্তই তোমার দাস।

Your laws remain to this day, For all things serve you.

যদি তোমার ব্যবস্থা আমার হর্ষজনক না হইত, তবে ইতিপূর্ব্বে আমি আপন দুঃখে বিনষ্ট হইতাম।

Unless your law had been my delight, I would have perished in my affliction.

আমি তোমার নিদেশমালা কখনও ভুলিয়া যাইব না, কারণ তদ্দ্বারা তুমি আমাকে সঞ্জীবিত করিয়াছ।

I will never forget your precepts, For with them, you have revived me.

আমি তোমারই, আমাকে পরিত্রাণ কর; কারণ আমি তব নিদেশমালার অন্বেষণ করিয়াছি।

I am yours. Save me, for I have sought your precepts.

দুষ্টগণ আমাকে বিনষ্ট করিবার জন্য আমার অপেক্ষা করিয়াছে; আমি তোমার সাক্ষ্যকলাপ আলোচনা করিব।

The wicked have waited for me, to destroy me. I will consider your statutes.

আমি সমস্ত সিদ্ধির অন্ত দেখিয়াছি; তোমার আজ্ঞা অতিশয় প্রশস্ত।

I have seen a limit to all perfection, But your commands are boundless.

আমি তোমার ব্যবস্থা কেমন ভালবাসি! তাহা সমস্ত দিন আমার ধ্যানের বিষয়।

MEM How love I your law! It is my meditation all day.

তোমার আজ্ঞা সকল আমাকে শত্রুগণ অপেক্ষা জ্ঞানবান করে; কারণ সেই সকল চিরকাল আমার।

Your commandments make me wiser than my enemies, For your commandments are always with me.

আমার সমস্ত গুরু অপেক্ষা আমি জ্ঞানবান, কেননা আমি তোমার সাক্ষ্যকলাপ ধ্যান করি।

I have more understanding than all my teachers, For your testimonies are my meditation.

প্রাচীন লোক হইতেও আমি বুদ্ধিমান, কারণ আমি তোমার নিদেশ সকল পালন করিয়াছি।

I understand more than the aged, Because I have kept your precepts.

আমি সমস্ত কুপথ হইতে আপন চরণ নিবৃত্ত করিয়াছি, যেন আমি তোমার বাক্য পালন করি।

I have kept my feet from every evil way, That I might observe your word.

আমি তোমার শাসনপথ হইতে ফিরি নাই, কারণ তুমিই আমাকে শিক্ষা দিয়াছ।

I have not turned aside from your ordinances, For you have taught me.

তোমার বচন সকল আমার তালুতে কেমন মিষ্ট লাগে! তাহা আমার মুখে মধু হইতেও মধুর!

How sweet are your promises to my taste, More than honey to my mouth!
