1বিশ্রামদিন অবসান হইলে, সপ্তাহের প্রথম দিনের ঊষারম্ভে, মগ্দলীনী মরিয়ম ও অন্য মরিয়ম কবর দেখিতে আসিলেন।
1Now after the Sabbath, as it began to dawn on the first day of the week, Mary Magdalene and the other Mary came to see the tomb.
2আর দেখ, মহা-ভূমিকম্প হইল; কেননা প্রভুর এক দূত স্বর্গ হইতে নামিয়া আসিয়া সেই পাথরখানা সরাইয়া দিলেন, এবং তাহার উপরে বসিলেন।
2Behold, there was a great earthquake, for an angel of the Lord descended from the sky, and came and rolled away the stone from the door, and sat on it.
3তাঁহার দৃশ্য বিদ্যুতের ন্যায়, এবং তাঁহার বস্ত্র হিমের ন্যায় শুভ্রবর্ণ।
3His appearance was like lightning, and his clothing white as snow.
4তাঁহার ভয়ে প্রহরিগণ কাঁপিতে লাগিল, ও মৃতবৎ হইয়া পড়িল।
4For fear of him, the guards shook, and became like dead men.
5সেই দূত স্ত্রীলোক কয়টীকে কহিলেন, তোমরা ভয় করিও না, কেননা আমি জানি যে, তোমরা ক্রুশে হত যীশুর অন্বেষণ করিতেছ।
5The angel answered the women, "Don't be afraid, for I know that you seek Jesus, who has been crucified.
6তিনি এখানে নাই; কেননা তিনি উঠিয়াছেন, যেমন বলিয়াছিলেন; আইস, প্রভু যেখানে শুইয়াছিলেন, সেই স্থান দেখ।
6He is not here, for he has risen, just like he said. Come, see the place where the Lord was lying.
7আর শীঘ্র গিয়া তাঁহার শিষ্যদিগকে বল যে, তিনি মৃতদের মধ্য হইতে উঠিয়াছেন, এবং দেখ, তোমাদের অগ্রে গালীলে যাইতেছেন, সেইখানে তাঁহাকে দেখিতে পাইবে; দেখ, আমি তোমাদিগকে বলিলাম।
7Go quickly and tell his disciples, 'He has risen from the dead, and behold, he goes before you into Galilee; there you will see him.' Behold, I have told you."
8তখন তাঁহারা সভয়ে ও মহানন্দে শীঘ্র কবর হইতে প্রস্থান করিয়া তাঁহার শিষ্যদিগকে সংবাদ দিবার জন্য দৌড়িয়া গেলেন।
8They departed quickly from the tomb with fear and great joy, and ran to bring his disciples word.
9আর দেখ, যীশু তাঁহাদের সম্মুখবর্ত্তী হইলেন, কহিলেন, তোমাদের মঙ্গল হউক; তখন তাঁহারা নিকটে আসিয়া তাঁহার চরণ ধরিলেন ও তাঁহাকে প্রণাম করিলেন।
9As they went to tell his disciples, behold, Jesus met them, saying, "Rejoice!" They came and took hold of his feet, and worshiped him.
10তখন যীশু তাঁহাদিগকে কহিলেন, ভয় করিও না; তোমরা যাও, আমার ভ্রাতৃগণকে সংবাদ দেও, যেন তাহারা গালীলে যায়; সেইখানে তাহারা আমাকে দেখিতে পাইবে।
10Then Jesus said to them, "Don't be afraid. Go tell my brothers that they should go into Galilee, and there they will see me."
11তাঁহারা যাইতেছেন, ইতিমধ্যে দেখ, প্রহরি-দলের কেহ কেহ নগরে গিয়া যাহা যাহা ঘটিয়াছিল, সে সমস্ত বিবরণ প্রধান যাজকদিগকে জানাইল।
11Now while they were going, behold, some of the guards came into the city, and told the chief priests all the things that had happened.
12তখন তাহারা প্রাচীনবর্গের সহিত একত্র হইয়া ও মন্ত্রণা করিয়া ঐ সেনাগণকে অনেক টাকা দিল, কহিল,
12When they were assembled with the elders, and had taken counsel, they gave a large amount of silver to the soldiers,
13তোমরা বলিও যে, তাহার শিষ্যগণ রাত্রিকালে আসিয়া, যখন আমরা নিদ্রাগত ছিলাম, তখন তাহাকে চুরি করিয়া লইয়া গিয়াছে।
13saying, "Say that his disciples came by night, and stole him away while we slept.
14আর যদি এ কথা দেশাধ্যক্ষের কর্ণগোচর হয়, তবে আমরাই তাঁহাকে বুঝাইয়া তোমাদের ভাবনা দূর করিব।
14If this comes to the governor's ears, we will persuade him and make you free of worry."
15তখন তাহারা সেই টাকা লইয়া, যেরূপ শিক্ষা পাইল, সেইরূপ কার্য্য করিল। আর যিহূদীদের মধ্যে সেই জনরব রটিয়া গেল, তাহা অদ্য পর্য্যন্ত রহিয়াছে।
15So they took the money and did as they were told. This saying was spread abroad among the Jews, and continues until this day.
16পরে একাদশ শিষ্য গালীলে যীশুর নিরূপিত পর্ব্বতে গমন করিলেন,
16But the eleven disciples went into Galilee, to the mountain where Jesus had sent them.
17আর তাঁহাকে দেখিয়া প্রণাম করিলেন; কিন্তু কেহ কেহ সন্দেহ করিলেন।
17When they saw him, they bowed down to him, but some doubted.
18তখন যীশু নিকটে আসিয়া তাঁহাদের সহিত কথা কহিলেন, বলিলেন, স্বর্গে ও পৃথিবীতে সমস্ত কর্ত্তৃত্ব আমাকে দত্ত হইয়াছে।
18Jesus came to them and spoke to them, saying, "All authority has been given to me in heaven and on earth.
19অতএব তোমরা গিয়া সমুদয় জাতিকে শিষ্য কর; পিতার ও পুত্রের ও পবিত্র আত্মার নামে তাহাদিগকে বাপ্তাইজ কর;
19Therefore go , and make disciples of all nations, baptizing them in the name of the Father and of the Son and of the Holy Spirit,
20আমি তোমাদিগকে যাহা যাহা আজ্ঞা করিয়াছি, সে সমস্ত পালন করিতে তাহাদিগকে শিক্ষা দেও। আর দেখ, আমিই যুগান্ত পর্য্যন্ত প্রতিদিন তোমাদের সঙ্গে সঙ্গে আছি।
20teaching them to observe all things that I commanded you. Behold, I am with you always, even to the end of the age." Amen.
