আর গিবিয়ার গৃহস্থেরা আমার বিরুদ্ধে উঠিয়া রাত্রিকালে আমার জন্য গৃহের চারিদিক্ বেষ্টন করিল। তাহারা আমাকে বধ করিবার কল্পনা করিয়াছিল, আর আমার উপপত্নীকে বলাৎকার করায় সে মরিয়া গেল।

The men of Gibeah rose against me, and beset the house round about me by night; me they thought to have slain, and my concubine they forced, and she is dead.
