তাহারা চারিদিকে বিন্যামীনকে ঘেরিয়া তাড়াইতে লাগিল, এবং সূর্য্যোদয়-দিকে গিবিয়ার সম্মুখস্থ স্থান পর্য্যন্ত তাহাদের বিশ্রামস্থানে তাহাদিগকে দলিত করিতে লাগিল।
