1তখন ইয়োব উত্তর করিয়া কহিলেন,
1Then Job answered,
2তুমি বলহীনের কেমন সাহায্য করিলে! দুর্ব্বল বাহুকে কেমন নিস্তার করিলে!
2"How have you helped him who is without power! How have you saved the arm that has no strength!
3প্রজ্ঞাহীনকে কেমন পরামর্শ দিলে! বুদ্ধিকৌশল কেমন প্রচুররূপে প্রকাশ করিলে!
3How have you counseled him who has no wisdom, And plentifully declared sound knowledge!
4তুমি কাহার কাছে কথা কহিলে? তোমা হইতে কাহার নিঃশ্বাস নির্গত হইল?
4To whom have you uttered words? Whose spirit came forth from you?
5প্রেতগণ কম্পিত হয়, জলরাশির ও তন্নিবাসীদের নীচে।
5"Those who are deceased tremble, Those beneath the waters and all that live in them.
6তাঁহার সম্মুখে পাতাল অনাবৃত, বিনাশ-স্থান অনাচ্ছাদিত।
6Sheol is naked before God, And Abaddon has no covering.
7তিনি শূন্যের উপরে উত্তর কেন্দ্র বিস্তার করিয়াছেন, অবস্তুর উপরে পৃথিবীকে ঝুলাইয়াছেন,
7He stretches out the north over empty space, And hangs the earth on nothing.
8তিনি স্বীয় নিবিড় মেঘে জল বদ্ধ করেন, তথাপি জলধর তাহার ভারে বিদীর্ণ হয় না।
8He binds up the waters in his thick clouds, And the cloud is not burst under them.
9তিনি নিজ সিংহাসনের মুখ আচ্ছাদন করেন, আপন মেঘ দ্বারা তাহা আবৃত করেন।
9He encloses the face of his throne, And spreads his cloud on it.
10তিনি জলরাশির উপর চক্ররেখা লিখিয়াছেন, অন্ধকার ও দীপ্তির মধ্যবর্ত্তী সীমা পর্য্যন্ত।
10He has described a boundary on the surface of the waters, And to the confines of light and darkness.
11গগনমণ্ডলের স্তম্ভ সকল কম্পিত হয়, তাঁহার ভর্ৎসনায় চমকিয়া উঠে।
11The pillars of heaven tremble And are astonished at his rebuke.
12তিনি আপন পরাক্রমে সমুদ্রকে উত্তেজিত করেন, আপন বুদ্ধিতে গর্ব্বীকে আঘাত করেন।
12He stirs up the sea with his power, And by his understanding he strikes through Rahab.
13তাঁহার শ্বাসে আকাশ পরিষ্কার হয়; তাঁহারই স্তম্ভ পলায়মান নাগকে বিদ্ধ করিয়াছে।
13By his Spirit the heavens are garnished. His hand has pierced the swift serpent.
14দেখ, এই সকল তাঁহার মার্গের প্রান্ত; তাঁহার বিষয়ে কাকলীমাত্র শুনা যায়; কিন্তু তাঁহার পরাক্রমের গর্জ্জন কে বুঝিতে পারে?
14Behold, these are but the outskirts of his ways. How small a whisper do we hear of him! But the thunder of his power who can understand?"
