বাহিনীগণের সদাপ্রভু এই কথা কহেন, বাবিলের প্রশস্ত প্রাচীর সকল একেবারে ভগ্ন হইবে, এবং তাহার উচ্চ দ্বার সকল আগুনে পোড়াইয়া দেওয়া যাইবে; আর লোকবৃন্দ কেবল অসারতার জন্য, ও জাতিগণ কেবল অগ্নির জন্য পরিশ্রম করিবে; এবং তাহারা ক্লান্ত হইবে।

Thus says Yahweh of hosts: The broad walls of Babylon shall be utterly overthrown, and her high gates shall be burned with fire; and the peoples shall labor for vanity, and the nations for the fire; and they shall be weary.
