কেননা সদাপ্রভু বাবিলকে উচ্ছিন্ন করিতেছেন, তাহার মধ্যবর্ত্তী মহাশব্দকে ক্ষান্ত করিতেছেন, উহাদের তরঙ্গ সকল জলরাশির ন্যায় গর্জ্জন করিতেছে; তাহাদের কল্লোলধ্বনি শুনা যাইতেছে।

For Yahweh lays Babylon waste, and destroys out of her the great voice; and their waves roar like many waters; the noise of their voice is uttered:
