এবং তাহাদের দেবগণকে অগ্নিতে নিক্ষেপ করিয়াছে, কারণ তাহারা ঈশ্বর নয়, কিন্তু মনুষ্যের হস্তের কার্য্য, কাষ্ঠ ও প্রস্তর; এই জন্য উহারা তাহাদিগকে বিনষ্ট করিয়াছে।

and have cast their gods into the fire: for they were no gods, but the work of men's hands, wood and stone; therefore they have destroyed them.
