1তখন যোষেফ আপনার নিকটে দণ্ডায়মান লোকদের সাক্ষাতে আত্মসম্বরণ করিতে পারিলেন না; তিনি উচ্চৈঃস্বরে কহিলেন, আমার সম্মুখ হইতে সব লোককে বাহির কর। তাহাতে কেহ তাঁহার কাছে দাঁড়াইল না, আর তখনই যোষেফ ভাইদের কাছে আপনার পরিচয় দিতে লাগিলেন।
1Then Joseph couldn't control himself before all those who stood before him, and he cried, "Cause every man to go out from me!" There stood no man with him, while Joseph made himself known to his brothers.
2তিনি উচ্চৈঃস্বরে রোদন করিলেন; মিস্রীয়েরা তাহা শুনিতে পাইল ও ফরৌণের গৃহস্থিত লোকেরাও শুনিতে পাইল।
2He wept aloud. The Egyptians heard, and the house of Pharaoh heard.
3পরে যোষেফ আপন ভাইদের কহিলেন, আমি যোষেফ; আমার পিতা কি এখনও জীবিত আছেন? ইহাতে তাঁহার ভাইরা তাঁহার সাক্ষাতে বিহ্বল হইয়া পড়িলেন, উত্তর করিতে পারিলেন না।
3Joseph said to his brothers, "I am Joseph! Does my father still live?" His brothers couldn't answer him; for they were terrified at his presence.
4পরে যোষেফ আপন ভাইদের কহিলেন, বিনয় করি, আমার নিকটে আইস। তাঁহারা নিকটে গেলেন। তিনি কহিলেন, আমি যোষেফ, তোমাদের ভাই, যাহাকে তোমরা মিসরগামীদের কাছে বিক্রয় করিয়াছিলে।
4Joseph said to his brothers, "Come near to me, please." They came near. "He said, I am Joseph, your brother, whom you sold into Egypt.
5কিন্তু তোমরা আমাকে এই স্থানে বিক্রয় করিয়াছ বলিয়া এখন দুঃখিত কি বিরক্ত হইও না; কেননা প্রাণ রক্ষা করিবার জন্যই ঈশ্বর তোমাদের অগ্রে আমাকে পাঠাইয়াছেন।
5Now don't be grieved, nor angry with yourselves, that you sold me here, for God sent me before you to preserve life.
6কারণ দুই বৎসরাবধি দেশে দুর্ভিক্ষ হইয়াছে; আরও পাঁচ বৎসর পর্য্যন্ত চাস কি ফসল হইবে না।
6For these two years the famine has been in the land, and there are yet five years, in which there will be neither plowing nor harvest.
7আর ঈশ্বর পৃথিবীতে তোমাদের বংশ রক্ষা করিতে ও মহৎ উদ্ধারের দ্বারা তোমাদিগকে বাঁচাইতে তোমাদের অগ্রে আমাকে পাঠাইয়াছেন।
7God sent me before you to preserve you a remnant in the earth, and to save you alive by a great deliverance.
8অতএব তোমরাই আমাকে এই স্থানে পাঠাইয়াছ, তাহা নয়, ঈশ্বর পাঠাইয়াছেন, এবং আমাকে ফরৌণের পিতৃস্থানীয়, তাঁহার সমস্ত বাটীর প্রভু ও সমস্ত মিসর দেশের উপরে শাসনকর্ত্তা করিয়াছেন।
8So now it wasn't you who sent me here, but God, and he has made me a father to Pharaoh, lord of all his house, and ruler over all the land of Egypt.
9তোমরা শীঘ্র করিয়া আমার পিতার নিকটে যাও, তাঁহাকে বল, ‘তোমার পুত্র যোষেফ এইরূপ কহিল, ঈশ্বর আমাকে সমস্ত মিসর দেশের কর্ত্তা করিয়াছেন; তুমি আমার নিকটে চলিয়া আইস, বিলম্ব করিও না।
9Hurry , and go up to my father, and tell him, 'This is what your son Joseph says, "God has made me lord of all Egypt. Come down to me. Don't wait.
10তুমি পুত্র পৌত্রাদির ও গোমেষাদি সর্ব্বস্বের সহিত গোশন প্রদেশে বাস করিবে; তুমি আমার নিকটেই থাকিবে।
10You shall dwell in the land of Goshen, and you will be near to me, you, your children, your children's children, your flocks, your herds, and all that you have.
11সে স্থানে আমি তোমাকে প্রতিপালন করিব, কেননা আর পাঁচ বৎসর দুর্ভিক্ষ থাকিবে; পাছে তোমার ও তোমার পরিজনের ও তোমার সকল লোকের দৈন্যদশা ঘটে।’
11There I will nourish you; for there are yet five years of famine; lest you come to poverty, you, and your household, and all that you have."'
12আর দেখ, তোমরা ও আমার সহোদর বিন্যামীন চাক্ষুষ দেখিতেছ যে, আমি নিজ মুখে তোমাদের সহিত কথাবার্ত্তা কহিতেছি।
12Behold, your eyes see, and the eyes of my brother Benjamin, that it is my mouth that speaks to you.
13অতএব এই মিসর দেশে আমার প্রতাপ ও তোমরা যাহা যাহা দেখিয়াছ, সে সকল আমার পিতাকে জ্ঞাত করিবে, এবং তাঁহাকে শীঘ্র এই স্থানে আনিবে।
13You shall tell my father of all my glory in Egypt, and of all that you have seen. You shall hurry and bring my father down here."
14পরে যোষেফ আপন ভাই বিন্যামীনের গলা ধরিয়া রোদন করিলেন, এবং বিন্যামীনও তাঁহার গলা ধরিয়া রোদন করিলেন।
14He fell on his brother Benjamin's neck, and wept, and Benjamin wept on his neck.
15আর যোষেফ অন্য সকল ভাইকেও চুম্বন করিলেন, ও তাঁহাদের গলা ধরিয়া রোদন করিলেন; তাহার পরে তাঁহার ভ্রাতারা তাঁহার সহিত আলাপ করিতে লাগিলেন।
15He kissed all his brothers, and wept on them. After that his brothers talked with him.
16আর যোষেফের ভাইরা আসিয়াছে, ফরৌণের বাটীতে এই কথা উপস্থিত হইলে ফরৌণ ও তাঁহার দাসগণ সকলে সন্তুষ্ট হইলেন।
16The report of it was heard in Pharaoh's house, saying, "Joseph's brothers have come." It pleased Pharaoh well, and his servants.
17আর ফরৌণ যোষেফকে কহিলেন, তুমি তোমার ভাইদের বল, তোমরা এই কর্ম্ম কর; তোমাদের পশুগণের পৃষ্ঠে শস্য চাপাইয়া কনান দেশে গমন কর,
17Pharaoh said to Joseph, "Tell your brothers, 'Do this. Load your animals, and go, travel to the land of Canaan.
18এবং তোমাদের পিতাকে ও আপন আপন পরিবারকে আমার নিকটে লইয়া আইস; আমি তোমাদিগকে মিসর দেশের উৎকৃষ্ট দ্রব্য দিব, আর তোমরা দেশের সারাংশ ভোগ করিবে।
18Take your father and your households, and come to me, and I will give you the good of the land of Egypt, and you will eat the fat of the land.'
19এখন তোমার প্রতি আমার আজ্ঞা এই, তোমরা এই কর্ম্ম কর, তোমরা আপন আপন বালক বালিকা ও স্ত্রীদের নিমিত্তে মিসর দেশ হইতে শকট লইয়া গিয়া তাহাদিগকে ও আপনাদের পিতাকে লইয়া আইস;
19Now you are commanded: do this. Take wagons out of the land of Egypt for your little ones, and for your wives, and bring your father, and come.
20আর আপন আপন দ্রব্য সামগ্রীর মমতা করিও না, কেননা সমুদয় মিসর দেশের উৎকৃষ্ট দ্রব্য তোমাদেরই।
20Also, don't concern yourselves about your belongings, for the good of all of the land of Egypt is yours."
21তখন ইস্রায়েলের পুত্রগণ তাহাই করিলেন। এবং যোষেফ ফরৌণের আজ্ঞানুসারে তাহাদিগকে শকট দিলেন, এবং পাথেয় দ্রব্যও দিলেন;
21The sons of Israel did so. Joseph gave them wagons, according to the commandment of Pharaoh, and gave them provision for the way.
22তিনি প্রত্যেক জনকে এক এক যোড়া বস্ত্র দিলেন, কিন্তু বিন্যামীনকে তিন শত রৌপ্যমুদ্রা ও পাঁচ যোড়া বস্ত্র দিলেন।
22To all of them he gave each man changes of clothing, but to Benjamin he gave three hundred pieces of silver and five changes of clothing.
23আর পিতার জন্য এই সকল দ্রব্য পাঠাইলেন, দশ গর্দ্দভে চাপাইয়া মিসরের উৎকৃষ্ট দ্রব্য এবং পিতার পাথেয়ের জন্য দশ গর্দ্দভীতে চাপাইয়া শস্য ও রুটী প্রভৃতি ভক্ষ্য দ্রব্য।
23To his father, he sent after this manner: ten donkeys loaded with the good things of Egypt, and ten female donkeys loaded with grain and bread and provision for his father by the way.
24এইরূপে তিনি আপন ভ্রাতাদিগকে বিদায় করিলে তাঁহারা প্রস্থান করিলেন; তিনি তাঁহাদিগকে বলিয়া দিলেন, পথে বিবাদ করিও না।
24So he sent his brothers away, and they departed. He said to them, "See that you don't quarrel on the way."
25পরে তাঁহারা মিসর হইতে যাত্রা করিয়া কনান দেশে তাঁহাদের পিতা যাকোবের নিকটে উপস্থিত হইলেন,
25They went up out of Egypt, and came into the land of Canaan, to Jacob their father.
26ও তাঁহাকে কহিলেন, যোষেফ এখনও জীবিত আছে, আবার সমস্ত মিসর দেশের উপরে সেই শাসনকর্ত্তা হইয়াছে। তথাপি তাঁহার হৃদয় জড়বৎ থাকিল, কারণ তাঁহাদের কথায় তাঁহার বিশ্বাস জন্মিল না।
26They told him, saying, "Joseph is still alive, and he is ruler over all the land of Egypt." His heart fainted, for he didn't believe them.
27কিন্তু যোষেফ তাঁহাদিগকে যে সকল কথা বলিয়াছিলেন, সে সকল যখন তাঁহারা তাঁহাকে বলিলেন, এবং তাঁহাকে লইয়া যাইবার নিমিত্তে যোষেফ যে সকল শকট পাঠাইয়াছিলেন, তাহাও যখন তিনি দেখিলেন, তখন তাঁহাদের পিতা যাকোবের আত্মা পুনর্জীবিত হইয়া উঠিল।
27They told him all the words of Joseph, which he had said to them. When he saw the wagons which Joseph had sent to carry him, the spirit of Jacob, their father, revived.
28আর ইস্রায়েল কহিলেন, এই যথেষ্ট; আমার পুত্র যোষেফ এখনও জীবিত আছে; আমি গিয়া মরিবার পূর্ব্বে তাহাকে দেখিব।
28Israel said, "It is enough. Joseph my son is still alive. I will go and see him before I die."
