1আর সদাপ্রভুর এই বাক্য আমার নিকটে উপস্থিত হইল,
1Moreover the word of Yahweh came to me, saying,
2হে মনুষ্য-সন্তান, প্রভু সদাপ্রভু ইস্রায়েল-দেশের বিষয়ে এই কথা কহেন, পরিণাম; দেশের চারি কোণে পরিণাম আসিতেছে।
2You, son of man, thus says the Lord Yahweh to the land of Israel, An end: the end is come on the four corners of the land.
3এখন তোমার পরিণাম উপস্থিত; আমি তোমার উপরে আপন ক্রোধ প্রেরণ করিব, তোমার আচারানুসারে বিচার করিব, তোমার সমস্ত ঘৃণার্হ কার্য্যের ফল তোমার উপরে রাখিব।
3Now is the end on you, and I will send my anger on you, and will judge you according to your ways; and I will bring on you all your abominations.
4আমি তোমার প্রতি চক্ষুলজ্জা করিব না, দয়াও করিব না, কিন্তু তোমার কার্য্যের ফল তোমার উপরে রাখিব, ও তোমার ঘৃণার্হ কার্য্য সকল তোমার মধ্যে থাকিবে; তাহাতে তোমরা জানিবে যে, আমিই সদাপ্রভু।
4My eye shall not spare you, neither will I have pity; but I will bring your ways on you, and your abominations shall be in the midst of you: and you shall know that I am Yahweh.
5প্রভু সদাপ্রভু এই কথা কহেন, অমঙ্গল, একা অমঙ্গল, দেখ, তাহা আসিতেছে।
5Thus says the Lord Yahweh: An evil, an only evil; behold, it comes.
6পরিণাম আসিতেছে; সেই পরিণাম আসিতেছে; তাহা তোমার বিরুদ্ধে জাগিয়া উঠিতেছে; দেখ, তাহা আসিতেছে।
6An end is come, the end is come; it awakes against you; behold, it comes.
7হে দেশনিবাসী লোক, তোমার পালা আসিতেছে, কাল আসিতেছে, দিবস সন্নিকট হইতেছে; সে কোলাহলের দিন, পর্ব্বতগণের উপরে আনন্দধ্বনির দিন নয়।
7Your doom is come to you, inhabitant of the land: the time is come, the day is near, a day of tumult, and not of joyful shouting, on the mountains.
8আমি এখন অবিলম্বে তোমার উপরে আপন ক্রোধ ঢালিয়া দিব, তোমার প্রতি আপন কোপ সাধন করিব, তোমার আচারানুসারে বিচার করিব, তোমার সমস্ত ঘৃণার্হ কার্য্যের ফল তোমার উপরে রাখিব।
8Now will I shortly pour out my wrath on you, and accomplish my anger against you, and will judge you according to your ways; and I will bring on you all your abominations.
9আমি চক্ষুলজ্জা করিব না দয়াও করিব না, তোমার কার্য্যানুরূপ ফল তোমার উপরে রাখিব, এবং তোমার ঘৃণার্হ কার্য্য সকল তোমার মধ্যে থাকিবে; তাহাতে তোমরা জানিবে যে, আমি, সদাপ্রভু আঘাত করি।
9My eye shall not spare, neither will I have pity: I will bring on you according to your ways; and your abominations shall be in the midst of you; and you shall know that I, Yahweh, do strike.
10ঐ দেখ, সেই দিন; দেখ, তাহা আসিতেছে; তোমার পালা উপস্থিত, দণ্ড পুষ্পিত, দর্প বিকশিত হইয়াছে।
10Behold, the day, behold, it comes: your doom is gone forth; the rod has blossomed, pride has budded.
11দৌরাত্ম্য বাড়িয়া দুষ্টতার দণ্ড হইয়া উঠিতেছে; তাহাদের কেহই থাকিবে না, তাহাদের লোকারণ্য বা তাহাদের ধন থাকিবে না; তাহাদের মধ্যে শ্রেষ্ঠতাও থাকিবে না।
11Violence is risen up into a rod of wickedness; none of them shall remain, nor of their multitude, nor of their wealth: neither shall there be eminency among them.
12কাল আসিতেছে দিন সন্নিকট হইল; ক্রেতা আনন্দ না করুক, বিক্রেতা শোক না করুক; কেননা তথাকার সমস্ত লোকারণ্যের প্রতি ক্রোধ উপস্থিত।
12The time is come, the day draws near: don't let the buyer rejoice, nor the seller mourn; for wrath is on all the multitude of it.
13বস্তুতঃ উভয়ে জীবিত অবস্থায় থাকিলেও বিক্রেতা বিক্রীত [অধিকারের] নিকটে ফিরিয়া যাইবে না, কেননা এই দর্শন তথাকার সমস্ত লোকারণ্য বিষয়ক; কেহ ফিরিয়া যাইবে না; আপন জীবনের অপরাধে কেহ আপন জীবাত্মা সবল করিতে পারিবে না।
13For the seller shall not return to that which is sold, although they be yet alive: for the vision is touching the whole multitude of it, none shall return; neither shall any strengthen himself in the iniquity of his life.
14তাহারা তূরী বাজাইয়া সকল প্রস্তুত করিয়াছে, কিন্তু কেহ যুদ্ধে গমন করে না, কেননা আমার ক্রোধ তথাকার সমস্ত লোকারণ্যের প্রতি উপস্থিত।
14They have blown the trumpet, and have made all ready; but none goes to the battle; for my wrath is on all the multitude of it.
15বাহিরে খড়্‌গ এবং ভিতরে মহামারী ও দুর্ভিক্ষ। যে ব্যক্তি ক্ষেত্রে থাকিবে, সে খড়্‌গে মরিবে; যে নগরে থাকিবে, দুর্ভিক্ষ ও মহামারী তাহাকে গ্রাস করিবে।
15The sword is outside, and the pestilence and the famine within: he who is in the field shall die with the sword: and he who is in the city, famine and pestilence shall devour him.
16কিন্তু তাহাদের মধ্যে যাহারা উত্তীর্ণ হয়, তাহারা রক্ষা পাইবে, তাহারা পর্ব্বতগণের উপরে থাকিয়া উপত্যকাস্থ ঘুঘুর ন্যায় হইবে, সকলে আপন আপন অপরাধের নিমিত্ত বিলাপ করিবে।
16But those of those who escape shall escape, and shall be on the mountains like doves of the valleys, all of them moaning, every one in his iniquity.
17সকলের হস্ত দুর্ব্বল হইবে, সকলের হাঁটু জলের মত দ্রব হইবে।
17All hands shall be feeble, and all knees shall be weak as water.
18তাহারা কটিদেশে চট বাঁধিবে, মহাত্রাসে আচ্ছন্ন হইবে, সকলের মুখে কালি পড়িবে, তাহাদের সকলের মস্তকে টাক পড়িবে।
18They shall also gird themselves with sackcloth, and horror shall cover them; and shame shall be on all faces, and baldness on all their heads.
19তাহারা আপন আপন রৌপ্য চকে ফেলিয়া দিবে, তাহাদের সুবর্ণ অশুচি বস্তু হইবে; সদাপ্রভুর ক্রোধের দিনে তাহাদের স্বর্ণ কি রৌপ্য তাহাদিগকে রক্ষা করিতে পারিবে না; তাহা তাহাদের প্রাণ তৃপ্ত, কিম্বা তাহাদের উদর পূর্ণ করিবে না কেননা তাহাই তাহাদের অপরাধজনক বিঘ্ন হইয়াছে।
19They shall cast their silver in the streets, and their gold shall be as an unclean thing; their silver and their gold shall not be able to deliver them in the day of the wrath of Yahweh: they shall not satisfy their souls, neither fill their bowels; because it has been the stumbling block of their iniquity.
20তাহারা আপনাদের মনোহর আভরণের শ্লাঘা করিত, এবং তাহা দিয়া আপন আপন ঘৃণিত বস্তু সকলের প্রতিমা ও জঘন্য বস্তু গড়িত, এ কারণ আমি তাহা তাহাদের অশুচি বস্তু করিলাম।
20As for the beauty of his ornament, he set it in majesty; but they made the images of their abominations and their detestable things therein: therefore have I made it to them as an unclean thing.
21আর আমি তাহা মৃগয়ার বস্তুরূপে বিদেশীয়দের হস্তে ও লুটদ্রব্যরূপে পৃথিবীর দুষ্ট লোকদের হস্তে সমর্পণ করিব, তাহারা তাহা অপবিত্র করিবে।
21I will give it into the hands of the strangers for a prey, and to the wicked of the earth for a spoil; and they shall profane it.
22আর আমি তাহাদের হইতে আমার মুখ ফিরাইব, তাহাতে আমার গুপ্ত কোষ অপবিত্রীকৃত হইবে, দস্যুগণ তাহার মধ্যে প্রবেশ করিয়া তাহা অপবিত্র করিবে।
22My face will I turn also from them, and they shall profane my secret place; and robbers shall enter into it, and profane it.
23তুমি শৃঙ্খল প্রস্তুত কর, কেননা দেশ রক্তপাতরূপ অপরাধে পরিপূর্ণ, এবং নগর দৌরাত্ম্যে পরিপূর্ণ।
23Make the chain; for the land is full of bloody crimes, and the city is full of violence.
24তজ্জন্য আমি জাতিগণের মধ্যে দুষ্ট লোকদিগকে আনিব, তাহারা উহাদের গৃহ সকল অধিকার করিবে; আমি বলবান লোকদিগের শ্লাঘা চূর্ণ করিব; আর তাহাদের পবিত্র স্থান সকল অপবিত্র হইবে।
24Therefore I will bring the worst of the nations, and they shall possess their houses: I will also make the pride of the strong to cease; and their holy places shall be profaned.
25সংহার আসিতেছে, তাহারা শান্তির অন্বেষণ করিবে, কিন্তু তাহা মিলিবে না।
25Destruction comes; and they shall seek peace, and there shall be none.
26বিপদের উপরে বিপদ ঘটিবে, জনরবের উপরে জনরব হইবে; আর তাহা ভাববাদীর নিকটে দর্শনের চেষ্টা করিবে, কিন্তু যাজকের ব্যবস্থা-জ্ঞান ও প্রাচীন লোকদের মন্ত্রণা লোপ পাইবে।
26Mischief shall come on mischief, and rumor shall be on rumor; and they shall seek a vision of the prophet; but the law shall perish from the priest, and counsel from the elders.
27রাজা শোকাকুল ও অমাত্য উৎসন্নতারূপ পরিচ্ছদে পরিচ্ছন্ন হইবে, ও দেশের প্রজাগণের হস্ত কাঁপিবে; আমি তাহাদের প্রতি তাহাদের আচারানুরূপ ব্যবহার করিব; তাহাতে তাহারা জানিবে যে, আমিই সদাপ্রভু।
27The king shall mourn, and the prince shall be clothed with desolation, and the hands of the people of the land shall be troubled: I will do to them after their way, and according to their deserts will I judge them; and they shall know that I am Yahweh.
