1আরও সদাপ্রভুর এই বাক্য আমার নিকটে উপস্থিত হইল,
1Moreover the word of Yahweh came to me, saying,
2হে মনুষ্য-সন্তান, তুমি সেরীয় পর্ব্বতের বিরুদ্ধে মুখ রাখ, তাহার বিরুদ্ধে ভাববাণী বল;
2Son of man, set your face against Mount Seir, and prophesy against it,
3আর তাহাকে বল, প্রভু সদাপ্রভু এই কথা কহেন, হে সেয়ীর পর্ব্বত, দেখ, আমি তোমার বিপক্ষ, আমি তোমার বিরুদ্ধে আমার হস্ত বিস্তার করিব, এবং তোমাকে ধ্বংসের ও বিস্ময়ের পাত্র করিব।
3and tell it, Thus says the Lord Yahweh: Behold, I am against you, Mount Seir, and I will stretch out my hand against you, and I will make you a desolation and an astonishment.
4আমি তোমার নগর সকল উৎসন্ন স্থান করিব, এবং তুমি ধ্বংস হইবে, তাহাতে তুমি জানিবে যে, আমিই সদাপ্রভু।
4I will lay your cities waste, and you shall be desolate; and you shall know that I am Yahweh.
5তোমার চিরন্তন শত্রুভাব আছে, এবং তুমি ইস্রায়েল-সন্তানদিগকে তাহাদের বিপৎকালে, শেষের অপরাধকালে, খড়্‌গের হস্তে সমর্পণ করিয়াছ;
5Because you have had a perpetual enmity, and have given over the children of Israel to the power of the sword in the time of their calamity, in the time of the iniquity of the end;
6এই জন্য, প্রভু সদাপ্রভু কহেন, আমার জীবনের দিব্য, আমি তোমাকে রক্তময় করিব, এবং রক্ত তোমার পশ্চাতে দৌড়িবে; তুমি রক্ত ঘৃণা কর নাই, তাই রক্ত তোমার পশ্চাতে দৌড়িবে।
6therefore, as I live, says the Lord Yahweh, I will prepare you to blood, and blood shall pursue you: since you have not hated blood, therefore blood shall pursue you.
7আমি সেয়ীর পর্ব্বতকে বিস্ময়ের পাত্র ও ধ্বংসস্থান করিব, এবং গমনাগমনকারী লোককে তাহার মধ্য হইতে উচ্ছিন্ন করিব।
7Thus will I make Mount Seir an astonishment and a desolation; and I will cut off from it him who passes through and him who returns.
8আমি তাহার নিহত লোকে তাহার পর্ব্বত সকল পূর্ণ করিব; তোমার উপপর্ব্বত সকলে, তোমার উপত্যকা সকলে ও তোমার সমস্ত জলপ্রবাহে খড়্‌গনিহত লোক পতিত হইবে।
8I will fill its mountains with its slain: in your hills and in your valleys and in all your watercourses shall they fall who are slain with the sword.
9আমি তোমাকে চিরন্তন ধ্বংসস্থান করিব, এবং তোমার নগর সকল নিবাসীবিহীন হইবে; তাহাতে তোমরা জানিবে যে, আমিই সদাপ্রভু।
9I will make you a perpetual desolation, and your cities shall not be inhabited; and you shall know that I am Yahweh.
10তুমি বলিয়াছ, এই দুই জাতি ও এই দুই দেশ আমারই হইবে, এবং আমরা তাহাদের অধিকারী হইব, তথাপি সদাপ্রভু সেই স্থানে ছিলেন;
10Because you have said, These two nations and these two countries shall be mine, and we will possess it; whereas Yahweh was there:
11এই জন্য, প্রভু সদাপ্রভু কহেন, আমার জীবনের দিব্য, তুমি যেমন তাহাদের প্রতি নিজ দ্বেষের অনুযায়ী কর্ম্ম করিয়াছ, তেমনি আমি তোমার সেই ক্রোধ ও ঈর্ষার অনুযায়ী কর্ম্ম করিব, এবং যখন তোমার বিচার করিব, তখন তাহাদের মধ্যে আপনার পরিচয় দিব।
11therefore, as I live, says the Lord Yahweh, I will do according to your anger, and according to your envy which you have shown out of your hatred against them; and I will make myself known among them, when I shall judge you.
12আর তুমি জানিবে যে, আমি সদাপ্রভু তোমার সেই সকল নিন্দাবাদ শুনিয়াছি, যাহা তুমি ইস্রায়েলের পর্ব্বতগণের বিষয়ে বলিয়াছ; তুমি বলিয়াছ, সে সকল ধ্বংসস্থান, সেগুলি গ্রাসার্থে আমাদিগকে দত্ত হইয়াছে।
12You shall know that I, Yahweh, have heard all your insults which you have spoken against the mountains of Israel, saying, They are laid desolate, they are given us to devour.
13এইরূপে তোমরা আমার বিপরীতে আপন মুখে দর্প করিয়াছ, এবং আমার বিরুদ্ধে অনেক কথা বলিয়াছ; আমি তাহা শুনিয়াছি।
13You have magnified yourselves against me with your mouth, and have multiplied your words against me: I have heard it.
14প্রভু সদাপ্রভু এই কথা কহেন, সমস্ত পৃথিবীর আনন্দকালে আমি তোমাকে ধ্বংস করিব।
14Thus says the Lord Yahweh: When the whole earth rejoices, I will make you desolate.
15তুমি ইস্রায়েল-কুলের অধিকার ধ্বংসিত দেখিয়া যেরূপ আনন্দ করিয়াছ, আমি তোমার সহিত সেইরূপ ব্যবহার করিব; হে সেয়ীর পর্ব্বত, তুমি ধ্বংস হইবে, সমস্ত ইদোম, তাহার সমস্তই হইবে; তাহাতে লোকে জানিবে যে, আমিই সদাপ্রভু।
15As you did rejoice over the inheritance of the house of Israel, because it was desolate, so will I do to you: you shall be desolate, Mount Seir, and all Edom, even all of it; and they shall know that I am Yahweh.
