হে মনুষ্য-সন্তান, তুমি আপন জাতির সন্তানগণের সহিত আলাপ কর, তাহাদিগকে বল, আমি কোন দেশের বিরুদ্ধে খড়্গ আনিলে যদি সেই দেশের লোকেরা আপনাদের মধ্য হইতে কোন ব্যক্তিকে লইয়া আপনাদের প্রহরী নিযুক্ত করে;

Son of man, speak to the children of your people, and tell them, When I bring the sword on a land, and the people of the land take a man from among them, and set him for their watchman;
