1পরে সদাপ্রভু মোশিকে কহিলেন,
1Yahweh spoke to Moses, saying,
2ইস্রায়েল-সন্তানদের মধ্যে মনুষ্য হউক কিম্বা পশু হউক, গর্ভ উন্মোচক সমস্ত প্রথমজাত ফল আমার উদ্দেশে পবিত্র কর; তাহা আমারই।
2"Sanctify to me all of the firstborn, whatever opens the womb among the children of Israel, both of man and of animal. It is mine."
3আর মোশি লোকদিগকে কহিলেন, এই দিন স্মরণে রাখিও, যে দিনে তোমরা মিসর হইতে, দাসগৃহ হইতে, বহির্গত হইলে, কারণ সদাপ্রভু পরাক্রান্ত হস্ত দ্বারা তথা হইতে তোমাদিগকে বাহির করিয়া আনিলেন; কোন তাড়ীযুক্ত ভক্ষ্য খাওয়া হইবে না।
3Moses said to the people, "Remember this day, in which you came out from Egypt, out of the house of bondage; for by strength of hand Yahweh brought you out from this place. No leavened bread shall be eaten.
4আবীব মাসের এই দিনে তোমরা বাহির হইলে।
4This day you go forth in the month Abib.
5আর কনানীয়, হিত্তীয়, ইমোরীয়, হিব্বীয় ও যিবূষীয়ের যে দেশ তোমাকে দিতে সদাপ্রভু তোমার পিতৃপুরুষদের কাছে দিব্য করিয়াছেন, সেই দুগ্ধমধুপ্রবাহী দেশে যখন তিনি তোমাকে আনিবেন, তখন তুমি এই মাসে এই সেবার অনুষ্ঠান করিবে।
5It shall be, when Yahweh shall bring you into the land of the Canaanite, and the Hittite, and the Amorite, and the Hivite, and the Jebusite, which he swore to your fathers to give you, a land flowing with milk and honey, that you shall keep this service in this month.
6সাত দিন তাড়ীশূন্য রুটী খাইও, ও সপ্তম দিনে সদাপ্রভুর উদ্দেশে উৎসব করিও।
6Seven days you shall eat unleavened bread, and in the seventh day shall be a feast to Yahweh.
7সেই সাত দিন তাড়ীশূন্য রুটী খাইতে হইবে, তোমার নিকটে তাড়ীযুক্ত ভক্ষ্য দৃষ্ট না হউক, তোমার সমস্ত সীমার মধ্যে তাড়ী দৃষ্ট না হউক।
7Unleavened bread shall be eaten throughout the seven days; and no leavened bread shall be seen with you, neither shall there be yeast seen with you, in all your borders.
8সেই দিনে তুমি আপন পুত্রকে ইহা জ্ঞাত করিও, মিসর হইতে আমার বাহির হইবার সময়ে সদাপ্রভু আমার প্রতি যাহা করিলেন, ইহা সেই জন্য।
8You shall tell your son in that day, saying, 'It is because of that which Yahweh did for me when I came forth out of Egypt.'
9আর ইহা চিহ্নের জন্য তোমার হস্তে ও স্মরণের জন্য তোমার দুই চক্ষুর মধ্যস্থানে থাকিবে; যেন সদাপ্রভুর ব্যবস্থা তোমার মুখে থাকে, কেননা সদাপ্রভু পরাক্রান্ত হস্ত দ্বারা মিসর হইতে তোমাকে বাহির করিয়াছেন।
9It shall be for a sign to you on your hand, and for a memorial between your eyes, that the law of Yahweh may be in your mouth; for with a strong hand Yahweh has brought you out of Egypt.
10অতএব তুমি বৎসর বৎসর যথাসময়ে এই বিধি পালন করিবে।
10You shall therefore keep this ordinance in its season from year to year.
11সদাপ্রভু তোমার কাছে ও তোমার পিতৃপুরুষদের কাছে যে দিব্য করিয়াছেন, তদনুসারে যখন কনানীয়ের দেশে প্রবেশ করাইয়া তোমাকে সেই দেশ দিবেন,
11"It shall be, when Yahweh shall bring you into the land of the Canaanite, as he swore to you and to your fathers, and shall give it you,
12তখন তুমি গর্ভ উন্মোচক সমস্ত প্রথম ফল সদাপ্রভুর নিকটে উপস্থিত করিবে; এবং তোমার পশুগণেরও সকল প্রথম গর্ভফলের মধ্যে পুংসন্তান সদাপ্রভুর হইবে।
12that you shall set apart to Yahweh all that opens the womb, and every firstborn which you have that comes from an animal. The males shall be Yahweh's.
13আর গর্দ্দভের প্রত্যেক প্রথম ফলের মুক্তির জন্য তাহার পরিবর্ত্তে মেষশাবক দিবে; যদি মুক্ত না কর, তবে তাহার গলা ভাঙ্গিবে; তোমার পুত্রগণের মধ্যে মনুষ্যের প্রথমজাত সকলকে মুক্ত করিতে হইবে।
13Every firstborn of a donkey you shall redeem with a lamb; and if you will not redeem it, then you shall break its neck; and you shall redeem all the firstborn of man among your sons.
14আর তোমার পুত্র ভাবিকালে যখন তোমাকে জিজ্ঞাসা করিবে, এ কি? তুমি বলিবে, সদাপ্রভু পরাক্রান্ত হস্ত দ্বারা আমাদিগকে মিসর হইতে, দাস-গৃহ হইতে বাহির করিলেন।
14It shall be, when your son asks you in time to come, saying, 'What is this?' that you shall tell him, 'By strength of hand Yahweh brought us out from Egypt, from the house of bondage;
15তৎকালে ফরৌণ আমাদিগকে ছাড়িয়া দিবার বিষয়ে নিষ্ঠুর হইলে সদাপ্রভু মিসর দেশে সমস্ত প্রথমজাত ফলকে, মনুষ্যের প্রথমজাত ও পশুর প্রথমজাত ফল সকলকে বধ করিলেন, এই নিমিত্তে আমি গর্ভ উন্মোচক পুংসন্তান সকলকে সদাপ্রভুর উদ্দেশে বলিদান করি, কিন্তু আমার প্রথমজাত পুত্র সকলকে মুক্ত করি।
15and it happened, when Pharaoh would hardly let us go, that Yahweh killed all the firstborn in the land of Egypt, both the firstborn of man, and the firstborn of animal. Therefore I sacrifice to Yahweh all that opens the womb, being males; but all the firstborn of my sons I redeem.'
16ইহা চিহ্নস্বরূপ তোমার হস্তে ও ভূষণস্বরূপ তোমার দুই চক্ষুর মধ্যস্থানে থাকিবে, কেননা সদাপ্রভু পরাক্রান্ত হস্ত দ্বারা আমাদিগকে মিসর দেশ হইতে বাহির করিয়া আনিলেন।
16It shall be for a sign on your hand, and for symbols between your eyes: for by strength of hand Yahweh brought us forth out of Egypt."
17আর ফরৌণ লোকদিগকে ছাড়িয়া দিলে, পলেষ্টীয়দের দেশ দিয়া সোজা পথ থাকিলেও ঈশ্বর সেই পথে তাহাদিগকে চালাইলেন না, কেননা ঈশ্বর কহিলেন, যুদ্ধ দেখিলে পাছে লোকেরা অনুতাপ করিয়া মিসরে ফিরিয়া যায়।
17It happened, when Pharaoh had let the people go, that God didn't lead them by the way of the land of the Philistines, although that was near; for God said, "Lest perhaps the people change their minds when they see war, and they return to Egypt;"
18অতএব ঈশ্বর লোকদিগকে সূফসাগরের প্রান্তরময় পথ দিয়া গমন করাইলেন; আর ইস্রায়েল-সন্তানেরা সসজ্জ হইয়া মিসর দেশ হইতে যাত্রা করিল।
18but God led the people around by the way of the wilderness by the Red Sea; and the children of Israel went up armed out of the land of Egypt.
19আর মোশি যোষেফের অস্থি আপনার সঙ্গে লইলেন, কেননা তিনি ইস্রায়েল-সন্তানদিগকে দৃঢ় দিব্য করাইয়া বলিয়াছিলেন, ঈশ্বর অবশ্য তোমাদের তত্ত্বাবধান করিবেন, আর তোমরা আপনাদের সঙ্গে আমার অস্থি এ স্থান হইতে লইয়া যাইবে।
19Moses took the bones of Joseph with him, for he had made the children of Israel swear, saying, "God will surely visit you, and you shall carry up my bones away from here with you."
20পরে তাহারা সুক্কোৎ হইতে যাত্রা করিয়া প্রান্তরের প্রান্তে স্থিত এথমে শিবির স্থাপন করিল।
20They took their journey from Succoth, and encamped in Etham, in the edge of the wilderness.
21আর সদাপ্রভু দিবাতে পথ দেখাইবার জন্য মেঘস্তম্ভে থাকিয়া, এবং রাত্রিতে দীপ্তি দিবার জন্য অগ্নিস্তম্ভে থাকিয়া তাহাদের অগ্রে অগ্রে গমন করিতেন, যেন তাহারা দিবারাত্র গমন করিতে পারে।
21Yahweh went before them by day in a pillar of cloud, to lead them on their way, and by night in a pillar of fire, to give them light, that they might go by day and by night:
22লোকদের সম্মুখ হইতে দিবাতে মেঘস্তম্ভ ও রাত্রিতে অগ্নিস্তম্ভ স্থানান্তর হইত না।
22the pillar of cloud by day, and the pillar of fire by night, didn't depart from before the people.
