এইরূপে সেই জাতিগণ সদাপ্রভুকেও ভয় করিতেছে, এবং আপনাদের ক্ষোদিত প্রতিমার সেবাও করিয়া আসিতেছি; তাহাদের পিতৃপুরুষেরা যেরূপ করিত, তাহাদের পুত্র পৌত্রেরাও অদ্য পর্য্যন্ত সেইরূপ করিতেছে।

So these nations feared Yahweh, and served their engraved images; their children likewise, and their children's children, as did their fathers, so do they to this day.
