তাহারা অদ্য পর্য্যন্ত পূর্ব্বকার বিধান অনুসারে কর্ম্ম করিতেছে; তাহারা সদাপ্রভুকে ভয় করে না, নিজ নিজ বিধি ও শাসন অনুসারে আচরণ করে না, এবং সদাপ্রভু যাঁহার নাম ইস্রায়েল রাখিয়াছিলেন, সেই যাকোবের সন্তানগণকে দত্ত তাঁহার ব্যবস্থা ও আজ্ঞানুসারেও চলে না।

To this day they do after the former manner: they don't fear Yahweh, neither do they after their statutes, or after their ordinances, or after the law or after the commandment which Yahweh commanded the children of Jacob, whom he named Israel;
