আর সদাপ্রভু তাহাদের সম্মুখ হইতে যে জাতিদিগকে নির্ব্বাসিত করিয়াছিলেন, তাহারা তাহাদের ন্যায় তথাকার সকল উচ্চস্থলীতে ধূপ জ্বালাইত, এবং দুষ্ক্রিয়া করিয়া সদাপ্রভুকে অসন্তুষ্ট করিত।

and there they burnt incense in all the high places, as did the nations whom Yahweh carried away before them; and they worked wicked things to provoke Yahweh to anger;
