সদাপ্রভুর দৃষ্টিতে যাহা মন্দ, তিনি তাহাই করিতেন; নবাটের পুত্র যারবিয়াম যে সকল পাপ দ্বারা ইস্রায়েলকে পাপ করাইয়াছিলেন, তিনি তাঁহার সেই সমস্ত পাপ ত্যাগ করিলেন না।

He did that which was evil in the sight of Yahweh: he didn't depart from all the sins of Jeroboam the son of Nebat, with which he made Israel to sin.
