কিন্তু যাজকগণ অল্প বলিয়া তাহারা হোমার্থক সকল পশুর চর্ম্ম খুলিতে অসমর্থ হইল; অতএব সেই কার্য্য যাবৎ সাঙ্গ না হয়, এবং যাজকেরা যাবৎ আপনাদিগকে পবিত্র না করে, তাবৎ তাহাদের লেবীয় ভ্রাতৃগণ তাহাদের সাহায্য করিল; কেননা আপনাদিগকে পবিত্র করণে যাজকগণ অপেক্ষা লেবীয়েরা অধিক সরলান্তঃকরণ ছিল।
World English Bible
But the priests were too few, so that they could not flay all the burnt offerings: therefore their brothers the Levites helped them, until the work was ended, and until the priests had sanctified themselves; for the Levites were more upright in heart to sanctify themselves than the priests.
