তাহারা জিজ্ঞাসা করিল, দোষার্থক উপহাররূপে তাঁহার কাছে কি পাঠাইয়া দিব? তাহারা কহিল, পলেষ্টীয়দের ভূপালগণের সংখ্যানুসারে স্বর্ণময় পাঁচটা স্ফোটক ও স্বর্ণময় পাঁচটা মূষিক দেও, কেননা তোমাদের সকলের উপরে ও তোমাদের ভূপালগণের উপরে একই রূপ আঘাত পড়িয়াছে।

Then they said, "What shall be the trespass-offering which we shall return to him?" They said, "Five golden tumors, and five golden mice, according to the number of the lords of the Philistines; for one plague was on you all, and on your lords.
