ইস্রায়েলের নিস্তারকর্ত্তা জীবন্ত সদাপ্রভুর দিব্য, যদ্যপি আমার পুত্র যোনাথনেরই দোষে তাহা হইয়া থাকে, তবু সে অবশ্য মরিবে। কিন্তু সমস্ত লোকের মধ্যে কেহই তাঁহাকে উত্তর দিল না।

For, as Yahweh lives, who saves Israel, though it be in Jonathan my son, he shall surely die. But there was not a man among all the people who answered him.
