তাহাতে শৌল ঈশ্বরের নিকটে জিজ্ঞাসা করিলেন, আমি কি পলেষ্টীয়দের পশ্চাতে নামিয়া যাইব? তুমি কি তাহাদিগকে ইস্রায়েলের হস্তে সমর্পণ করিবে? কিন্তু সেই দিন তিনি তাঁহাকে উত্তর দিলেন না।

Saul asked counsel of God, Shall I go down after the Philistines? will you deliver them into the hand of Israel? But he didn't answer him that day.
