পরে সে তাঁহাকে কহিল, সদাপ্রভু এই কথা কহেন, আমি যে ব্যক্তিকে বিনাশার্থে বর্জ্জনীয় করিয়াছিলাম, তাহাকে তুমি তোমার হস্ত হইতে ছাড়িয়া দিয়াছ; এই জন্য তাহার প্রাণের পরিবর্ত্তে তোমার প্রাণ, ও তাহার প্রজার পরিবর্ত্তে তোমার প্রজা যাইবে।
World English Bible
He said to him, Thus says Yahweh, Because you have let go out of your hand the man whom I had devoted to destruction, therefore your life shall go for his life, and your people for his people.
