আর আহাব আশেরা-মূর্ত্তি নির্ম্মাণ করিলেন। তাঁহার পূর্ব্বে ইস্রায়েলে যত রাজা ছিলেন, সেই সকল অপেক্ষা আহাব ইস্রায়েলের ঈশ্বর সদাপ্রভুর অসন্তোষজনক আরও অধিক কাজ করিলেন।

Ahab made the Asherah; and Ahab did yet more to provoke Yahweh, the God of Israel, to anger than all the kings of Israel who were before him.
