1পরে দায়ূদ ইস্রায়েলের সমস্ত অধ্যক্ষকে অর্থাৎ বংশাধ্যক্ষগণকে, পালানুক্রমে রাজার পরিচর্য্যাকারী দলের অধ্যক্ষগণকে, সহস্রপতি ও শতপতিগণকে এবং রাজার ও রাজপুত্রদের সমস্ত সম্পত্তির ও পশুপালের অধ্যক্ষগণকে, কর্ম্মচারীদিগকে এবং বীরগণকে, এমন কি, সমস্ত বলবান বীরকে যিরূশালেমে একত্র করিলেন।
1David assembled all the princes of Israel, the princes of the tribes, and the captains of the companies who served the king by division, and the captains of thousands, and the captains of hundreds, and the rulers over all the substance and possessions of the king and of his sons, with the officers, and the mighty men, even all the mighty men of valor, to Jerusalem.
2তখন দায়ূদ রাজা চরণে ভর দিয়া দাঁড়াইয়া কহিলেন, হে আমার ভ্রাতৃগণ ও আমার প্রজাগণ, আমার কথা শুন; সদাপ্রভুর নিয়ম-সিন্দুকের জন্য ও আমাদের ঈশ্বরের পাদপীঠের জন্য এক বিশ্রাম-গৃহ নির্ম্মাণ করিতে আমার মনোরথ হইয়াছিল; এবং আমি নির্ম্মাণার্থ আয়োজনও করিয়াছিলাম।
2Then David the king stood up on his feet, and said, Hear me, my brothers, and my people: as for me, it was in my heart to build a house of rest for the ark of the covenant of Yahweh, and for the footstool of our God; and I had made ready for the building.
3কিন্তু ঈশ্বর আমাকে কহিলেন, তুমি আমার নামের উদ্দেশে গৃহ নির্ম্মাণ করিবে না, কেননা তুমি যুদ্ধের লোক, তুমি রক্তপাত করিয়াছ।
3But God said to me, You shall not build a house for my name, because you are a man of war, and have shed blood.
4যাহা হউক, ইস্রায়েলের ঈশ্বর সদাপ্রভু ইস্রায়েলের উপরে নিত্য রাজত্ব করণার্থে আমার সমস্ত পিতৃকুল হইতে আমাকে মনোনীত করিয়াছেন; বস্তুতঃ তিনি নায়করূপে যিহূদাকে ও যিহূদার কুলমধ্যে আমার পিতৃকুলকে মনোনীত করিয়াছেন, এবং সমস্ত ইস্রায়েলের উপরে রাজা করণার্থে আমার পিতার পুত্রগণের মধ্যে আমারই উপরে প্রসন্ন হইয়াছেন।
4However Yahweh, the God of Israel, chose me out of all the house of my father to be king over Israel forever: for he has chosen Judah to be prince; and in the house of Judah, the house of my father; and among the sons of my father he took pleasure in me to make me king over all Israel;
5আবার সদাপ্রভু আমাকে অনেক পুত্র দিয়াছেন, কিন্তু আমার পুত্র সকলের মধ্যে ইস্রায়েলের অধ্যক্ষরূপে সদাপ্রভুর রাজসিংহাসনে বসিবার জন্য আমার পুত্র শলোমনকে মনোনীত করিয়াছেন।
5Of all my sons (for Yahweh has given me many sons), he has chosen Solomon my son to sit on the throne of the kingdom of Yahweh over Israel.
6আর তিনি আমাকে বলিয়াছেন, তোমার পুত্র শলোমনই আমার গৃহ ও আমার প্রাঙ্গণ সকল নির্ম্মাণ করিবে; কেননা আমি তাহাকেই আমার পুত্র বলিয়া মনোনীত করিয়াছি, আমিই তাহার পিতা হইব।
6He said to me, Solomon your son, he shall build my house and my courts; for I have chosen him to be my son, and I will be his father.
7আর অদ্যকার মত যদি সে আমার আজ্ঞা ও শাসন-কলাপ পালন করিতে তৎপর হয়, তবে আমি তাহার রাজ্য চিরকালের জন্য স্থির করিব।
7I will establish his kingdom forever, if he be constant to do my commandments and my ordinances, as at this day.
8অতএব এখন সদাপ্রভুর সমাজ সমস্ত ইস্রায়েলের সাক্ষাতে ও আমাদের ঈশ্বরের কর্ণগোচরে তোমরা যত্নপূর্ব্বক তোমাদের ঈশ্বর সদাপ্রভুর সমস্ত আজ্ঞার অনুশীলন কর; যেন এই উত্তম দেশের স্বত্ব ভোগ করিতে পার, এবং তোমাদের পরে তোমাদের সন্তানগণের চিরস্থায়ী অধিকারার্থে তাহা রাখিয়া যাও।
8Now therefore, in the sight of all Israel, the assembly of Yahweh, and in the audience of our God, observe and seek out all the commandments of Yahweh your God; that you may possess this good land, and leave it for an inheritance to your children after you forever.
9আর হে আমার পুত্র শলোমন, তুমি আপন পিতার ঈশ্বরকে জ্ঞাত হও, এবং একাগ্র অন্তঃকরণে ও ইচ্ছুক মনে তাঁহার সেবা কর; কেননা সদাপ্রভু সমস্ত অন্তঃকরণের অনুসন্ধান করেন, ও চিন্তার সমস্ত কল্পনা বুঝেন; তুমি যদি তাঁহার অন্বেষণ কর, তবে তিনি তোমাকে আপনার উদ্দেশ পাইতে দিবেন; কিন্তু যদি তাঁহাকে ত্যাগ কর, তবে তিনি তোমাকে চিরকালের জন্য দূর করিবেন।
9You, Solomon my son, know the God of your father, and serve him with a perfect heart and with a willing mind; for Yahweh searches all hearts, and understands all the imaginations of the thoughts: if you seek him, he will be found of you; but if you forsake him, he will cast you off forever.
10এখন সাবধান হও, কেননা ধর্ম্মধামের জন্য এক গৃহ নির্ম্মাণ করিতে সদাপ্রভু তোমাকে মনোনীত করিয়াছেন; তুমি বলবান হইয়া কার্য্য কর।
10Take heed now; for Yahweh has chosen you to build a house for the sanctuary: be strong, and do it.
11পরে দায়ূদ আপন পুত্র শলোমনকে বারাণ্ডার, তাহার কক্ষ সকলের, ভাণ্ডার সকলের, উপরিস্থ কুঠরী সকলের, ভিতর কুঠরী সকলের ও পাপাবরণ-সমন্বিত গৃহের আদর্শ দিলেন;
11Then David gave to Solomon his son the pattern of the porch of the temple, and of the houses of it, and of the treasuries of it, and of the upper rooms of it, and of the inner chambers of it, and of the place of the mercy seat;
12আত্মার দ্বারা যাহা যাহা তাঁহার মনে উপস্থিত হইয়াছিল, সেই সকলের আদর্শ দিলেন। [তন্মধ্যে নির্দ্দিষ্ট বস্তু এই এই,] সদাপ্রভুর গৃহের প্রাঙ্গণ সকল, ও চারিদিকের সকল কুঠরী, ঈশ্বরের গৃহের ভাণ্ডার সকল ও পবিত্রীকৃত বস্তুর ভাণ্ডার সকল;
12and the pattern of all that he had by the Spirit, for the courts of the house of Yahweh, and for all the surrounding rooms, for the treasuries of the house of God, and for the treasuries of the dedicated things;
13আর যাজকদের ও লেবীয়দের পালা, এবং সদাপ্রভুর গৃহ সম্পর্কীয় সেবাকর্ম্মার্থক সমস্ত কার্য্য, ও সদাপ্রভুর গৃহ সম্পর্কীয় সেবাকর্ম্মার্থক সমস্ত পাত্র;
13also for the divisions of the priests and the Levites, and for all the work of the service of the house of Yahweh, and for all the vessels of service in the house of Yahweh;
14স্বর্ণপাত্র সকলের জন্য সকল প্রকার সেবাকর্ম্মার্থক সমস্ত পাত্রের জন্য পরিমিত স্বর্ণ; সমস্ত রৌপ্যময় পাত্রের সকল প্রকার সেবাকর্ম্মার্থক সমস্ত পাত্রের জন্য পরিমিত রৌপ্য;
14of gold by weight for the vessels of gold, for all vessels of every kind of service; of silver for all the vessels of silver by weight, for all vessels of every kind of service;
15এবং স্বর্ণদীপবৃক্ষের ও স্বর্ণদীপ সকলের জন্য, অর্থাৎ সকল দীপবৃক্ষের ও তৎসম্বন্ধীয় দীপের জন্য পরিমিত স্বর্ণ; এবং রৌপ্যময় দীপবৃক্ষের, প্রত্যেক দীপবৃক্ষের ব্যবহার অনুসারে সকল দীপবৃক্ষের ও তৎসম্বন্ধীয় দীপগুলির জন্য পরিমিত রৌপ্য;
15by weight also for the lampstands of gold, and for the lamps of it, of gold, by weight for every lampstand and for the lamps of it; and for the lampstands of silver, silver by weight for every lampstand and for the lamps of it, according to the use of every lampstand;
16এবং দর্শন-রুটীর মেজ সকলের মধ্যে প্রত্যেক মেজের জন্য পরিমিত স্বর্ণ, এবং রৌপ্যময় মেজ সকলের জন্য রৌপ্য;
16and the gold by weight for the tables of show bread, for every table; and silver for the tables of silver;
17এবং ত্রিকন্টক শূল, বাটি ও স্রুব সকলের জন্য নির্ম্মল স্বর্ণ; এবং স্বর্ণময় কটোরা সকলের মধ্যে প্রত্যেক কটোরার জন্য পরিমিত স্বর্ণ; এবং রৌপ্যময় কটোরা সকলের মধ্যে প্রত্যেক কটোরার জন্য পরিমিত রৌপ্য;
17and the flesh-hooks, and the basins, and the cups, of pure gold; and for the golden bowls by weight for every bowl; and for the silver bowls by weight for every bowl;
18এবং ধূপবেদির জন্য পরিমিত নির্ম্মল স্বর্ণ; এবং বাহনের, অর্থাৎ যে করূবদ্বয় পক্ষ বিস্তার করিয়া সদাপ্রভুর নিয়ম-সিন্দুক আচ্ছাদন করিয়াছিল, তাহাদের আদর্শের জন্য স্বর্ণ।
18and for the altar of incense refined gold by weight; and gold for the pattern of the chariot, even the cherubim, that spread out their wings, and covered the ark of the covenant of Yahweh.
19[দায়ূদ কহিলেন], এ সমস্ত সদাপ্রভুর হস্তচালন ক্রমে রচিত লিপি; তিনি আদর্শের সমস্ত কার্য্য আমাকে বুঝাইয়া দিয়াছেন।
19All this, said David, have I been made to understand in writing from the hand of Yahweh, even all the works of this pattern.
20পরে দায়ূদ আপন পুত্র শলোমনকে কহিলেন, তুমি বলবান হও, সাহস কর, কার্য্য কর; ভয় করিও না, নিরাশ হইও না; কেননা সদাপ্রভু ঈশ্বর, আমার ঈশ্বর, তোমার সহবর্ত্তী; সদাপ্রভুর গৃহবিষয়ক কার্য্যের সমস্ত রচনা যাবৎ সমাপ্ত না হয়, তাবৎ তিনি তোমাকে ছাড়িবেন না, তোমাকে ত্যাগ করিবেন না।
20David said to Solomon his son, Be strong and of good courage, and do it: don't be afraid, nor be dismayed; for Yahweh God, even my God, is with you; he will not fail you, nor forsake you, until all the work for the service of the house of Yahweh is finished.
21আর দেখ, ঈশ্বরের গৃহ সম্পর্কীয় সমস্ত সেবাকর্ম্মের জন্য যাজকদের ও লেবীয়দের পালা আছে, এবং সমস্ত কার্য্যের জন্য সুনিপুণ স্বতঃপ্রবৃত্ত লোকেরা সমস্ত রচনায় তোমার সহবর্ত্তী হইবে; আর অধ্যক্ষগণ ও সমস্ত প্রজা তোমার সমস্ত বাক্য মানিবে।
21Behold, there are the divisions of the priests and the Levites, for all the service of the house of God: and there shall be with you in all manner of work every willing man who has skill, for any manner of service: also the captains and all the people will be entirely at your command.
